Hi All ! I have started on my mod on the Rubie westars ! I have stripped them and under Rupidupes Great instructions ! i still dont know whether i want to keep the electronics or not Attachment 40774Attachment 40773or what colour to paint ! Especially the handles ! I have seen many with ALL chrome with gold accents and blue grip/chrome grip ! Any input please !Attachment 40772
Also whether to lengthen the barrel and i think i will narrow the bulbous end ! Any opinions ?
Yes the barrel should be lengthened, the emitter needs to be a tad bit smaller.
As for the grip (handles), I believe they are more of a "brushed" aluminum rather than a polished aluminum (chrome) like the barrel, butt, and emitter... The gold accents are the end of the emitter, the little nub on the trigger, and the inside barrel (this is easier to dremel out and put a brass tube in it).
