Rubies Jango Fett helmet, any experience?

I'm building a JF costume now and picked up the Rubies helmet for only 23$. I've dealt with the Boba Fett one before and the biggest issue was it had some warping to it, squished on the side. Anybody have experience with the JF helmets? Am I in for the same nonsense as the BF ones?

You might look over on the Mercs forums, and see what the down low is on the rubies. Are you looking at the one piece or the two piece? The size is different on each.

Most of the guys here on this forum are into screen accuracy which can not be achieved with a Rubies. I think that is why you got a lack of response. I know if I am recommending a Jango helmet I would go with an Asok, as a matter of fact I have gone with Asok helmets twice and I am very pleased.

i got into the 501st with a rubies. Lots of work. LOTS. Worst of all I had lots of negative advice. Most of it from people who had interests in selling parts. There should be a how to thread somewhere . That's how I modified mine. Bondo the two parts together, heat and shape, throw in a craft hoop to hold the shape, finely sand it, couple layers of primer. Paint the trim, Rub and Buff it, replace the visor with a welder's visor, glue foam to the inside to help soften the inside and keep it straight during troops
