Roadtrip to Cruzer's (pic heavy)

Jango 5204

Active Hunter
Went on a short roadtrip to take delivery on my new backplate. Very nice, he's a stickler for the details. Got it attached and took some shots. I'm 99.9% done. I'll be redoing the girthbelt and a BKBT cod should be delivered any day now. Other than that, I really can't see dumping any more money into this one. I have a clone kit still sitting in the box. During the fitting a neighborhood kid came by and loves Jango Fett.

I plan on putting in an application with the Central Valley Garrison of the 501st. Ya'll think it's good enough? Special thanks to Cruzer for all his help, and photo taking.

Looks great. I like the dented helmet too. I just got my dented version helmet from BKBT. I hope mine turns out that nice. I think you have got the costume nailed.

That's awesome. I bet that kid's gonna get into costuming later on.

I have a question tho. When it comes to kids seeing you dressed up, do you act as the character and say the you actually are Jango, or tell them that you're just a person dressed up as him?

Thanks all.

Zombierepellent The kid yesterday knew it was a costume, and just likes the character. I asked Cruzer, " Hey, can I take off my helmet, or does this kid think I'm the real thing?" He said the kid understands the difference.

Uri Man, your Jango is HOT! I know you've got me beat, and your 501st picture is awesome.

Predatormv I got the dented because BKBT was busy making a bunch of the regular helmets and wasn't able to get to it done right away, but the "dented" mold wasn't being used, so I got #6 dented.

One more pic. Cruzer broke out all the kid size mando stuff. It's hard to tell the scale of all these tiny parts till you see them in person.

Very nice. I think you board name needs to be updated. You don't look like a "Jango newbie" to me. :D

Looks like you have the angle of the head down just right. VERY impressive gear there. It's simply perfect. If there's anything to complain about, is the Jet Pack the right height up along your back? Maybe it's just the angle of the last shot, but it seems a bit low... but then again I haven't looked at any ref. pictures in a while. Fabulous getup!

You 100% correct. The JP strapping isn't finished yet. The trap door was just taped on and it allowed it to slouch. The head angles are courtesy of Cruzer. "tilt your head to the left" "chin down a little" "push the helmet on a little more" "turn a little more"

You forgot..."don't slouch", "sit-up straight", "chin up"....

I'm definitely no Braks when it comes to taking pics, but I think they came out ok for just taking a few quick ones.

After looking at the pics, only thing I'd do is get rid of the really heavy weathering on the jumpsuit. But that's just me.

Looking good!(y)
