Retiring for a while...

Tarnhelmet

Hunter
Hey guys,
Well, I've been a TDHer for a little over 2 years now, faithfully working on a Jango all along. I started a clone last year as well. In that time I have come to know a few of you, and got to meet a bunch of you at the CIV get together.
I started a Ph.D. progam this year, and after much prayerful consideration I decided I don't have the time or money to continue working on two costumes, and since the clone is closer to completion, it won the toss.
Ergo, I am hanging up the Jango endeavor, for now at least. I sold off almost everything (still have a JD helmet if anyone is interested). My good buddy Cruzer gave me hope that a return is well possible, but this probably won't be until I am a tenured professor ;)
I hope to hang around the boards still, get to know you guys better and see the amazing progress on your suits.
May the Lord bless you and keep you all. It's been a lot of fun and I have learned so much from being a part of this community of extremely talented people!
God bless,
Pete Purin- Tarnhelmet

Sorry to hear this Pete, but totally understand - life comes first (need to get myself one of those someday )

Good luck on the Ph.D. program. Will we have to call you "Professor Tarnhelmet" now?

I think you should keep and display the JD helmet. It will keep you thinking about it and it makes a great display piece... Just my two cents.

Anyway, good luck and hope to see on the board still from time to time :cheers

So this'll make you, what, a Clone Captain, at least?

Well, good luck. And you'd better stay around. Else we might have to send Mand'alor or one of his "friends" out to you.
