potential boots for jangos?

Heatshock

Hunter
now over here in old blighty - it is often even harder than normal to get a nice pair of GBX2 or KC or Bedford stus

but in my search for boots for various cossies - I came across this

Gladstones Grafters 72161

that link allows u to rotate teh boot - but look at that sole!

Nate

soz mate not sure
I am a KST clone trooper man myself - but I heard jango's and gm's use the same base boot

I am sure a Jango specialist here could answer ur questions?

Not bad looking. The stamp on the back looks easy to file or sand down. It also has room for silver accents on the sole. It has potential, that's for sure.

hey Szle and any1 else interested.

like I said in 1st post - happy to help.
but gonna say this publically, so no one takes offense and its all above board - I can act as the intermediary for this item and post em on with whatever service you guys are happy with as long as individual buyers cover the cost.

BUT I will not be taking responsibility for any disputes between individual buyers and the original vendor.

having said that - I am not a dodgy person myself; ask anyone on here about my previous behaviour in FS and as a receiver; or just check out my previous threads.

I havent used these guys personally, and therefore cannot vouch or criticise their service at the moment.

for any1 else interested, I will hopefully be tryin to get some boots sorted for Szle sometime in the next month or so - so will prob have to drop by post office to try and get quotes; any1 else interested please pm me address and whether you want it with tracking or not.

Nate

I've ordered a pair with the help of Heatshock (I'm in the U.S.), so I'll post pics when I get them. It'll be nice to have a pair of boots to use regardless, but if they work then that's all for the better :D.

no probs guys - my pleasure

people hoping to do this though - the shop is closed for 2 weeks (just check out the site) from 30th July to 12th Aug.

all orders will only be dispatched on 12th Aug

No worries. You saved me the trouble of having to post them myself :D. I'm glad everyone is getting an opportunity to see them. I'm hoping to get some honest feedback from the other Jangos around here.

Heatshock, do you have a picture of the toe? From the top down? I think that may be a factor for a lot of people. When I compare it to the Reinone (don't hurt me for bringing up the name, I lost money there too) boot they're very similar. The only real difference I see is where the leather on the back and front meet up on the sides. On the other boots they come together where these have a gap on the sides. If I'm not mistaken that should be pretty much covered by the boot armor so it's not an issue for me :D.

Those really aren't too bad looking... the arch obviously isn't as high, but they hide it well enough to give it a faux Jango look ;)

right - confirmed some postage prices (estimates vary slightly - the size 8 and size 10 had diff weights!)

shippin worldwide with airmail tracking and insurance - £30

alternative - surface mail with insurance. no tracking but signature required for receipt - £18

hope your boots arrive soon guys!

Nate
