Possible Jango boot find

Ok I know these aren't exactly the same as the screen used ones, but I saw an advert for these in the paper and they looked quite good. The ones I saw in the paper looked slightly different and didn't look like they had laces. If they are under the jumpsuit you probably wouldn't notice. Pretty cheap too, only £22 plus £4 p&p in the UK.

I agree. It's the unique sole that distinguishes Jango's boots.
Those are just boots... apparently with mud all over the bottom. :b

I can see the top 3 stipes coming down like Boba but the boot is a bit big a bulky. I see no comparison to Jango though .... sorry.

Im wondering where NOITAIDAR got these boots, they look to be more accurate though Im still thumbing through photos. What do you all think?

You can see from the closeup here, that even though I masked the sides, my clumsy fingers messed it up, and got rub-n-buff all over it.

Anyone have any suggestions for cleaning it off? do white spirits work? Or should I just try to polish black over it?

Correct, If you can't find the real thing (which went out of production a few years ago) these are the closest thing to screen accurate. You can get by wearing a smooth top boot with a chunky sole though, most people won't notice your shoes.

Reinone is a member here, he did a run of replica boots a while back. Keep an eye out in the cargo hold. Every once in a while someone is selling them.

Dont I feel dumb :( I thought it was a company :doh

I didn't mean they were the exact ones! I just saw these and thought they may do as a cheap alternative for a Jango...I wouldn't know I'm a Boba kinda guy myself! I'll keep my opinions to myself next time!:cry
