While we're on the subject, what width did you use for the actual ammo belt itself that holds the pouches. 2 inches looks right to me...but maybe 2 1/2? Also what weight leather did you use for the pouches and what weight did you use for the holsters. I just ordered some jango blasters so i will need to make a new belt for them. I heard 4oz for the pouches and 8oz for the holsters?

Jango's belt is quite different from Boba's. It's all leather and the pouches are totally different dimensions.

I actually used the 8oz. for both the holsters and the pouches. I used 4 oz. tho for the sides of the pouches and the straps on the holsters. The 4 oz. I think would be okay for the entire pouch tho. Easier to work with.

Im hoping someone can help me....I am trying to find the small ball stud fastners that are used to connect the holster to the belt straps as well as the leg strap. I have found one type at Tandy, but they only have one size and it looks too large, especially for the leg strap. Im in desperate need of some help :) Seeker, if you see this post, where did you get the ones that you used?

Thanks,

Are there any local leather shops in your area? Luckily I found one about 20 miles away, the only one around, really and he's building all my belts and pouches. Maybe your local leatherworker can hook you up.

We had a local supply store order some P1700 SB studs from Ohio Travelbag. (www.ohiotravelbag.com) They're smaller than any of the studs we found elsewhere, and we think the right size. If you call Ohio Travelbag at 1-800-800-1941, they'll tell you which stores near you order from them. (They require a minimum order of something like $50.00, which is why you do it this way)
