I got my bucket signed by the man himself. Thanks Oz for the idea. ;)
Tem knows a little spanish. "Que Pasa"

I finished my bucket some time ago but never had a decent camera to take pics. Then I fell by the wayside for a bit. But now I've got the bug again to finish so here's a look at my Helm. Not bad for someone with no costuming or prop building experience. There are a few painting mistakes but overall I'm very pleased. Its what keeps me interested in finishing this costume. Its a JD fiberglass cast that I trimmed and sanded and painted etc... ;) . It was fun!

How'd I do? :D

hey guys,
where the heck do you find the Krylon Short Cuts Ocean Blue? I found bonnett blue, but they are so hard to find! Is there an alternative more readily available?

ok! Finally got my pics uploadable! Here's my JD v.1.0!
God bless,
Pete
P.S. See my post "yay for wearing an upgraded helmet" for some inprocess shots.

Nice work everyone,
Jango Uri's 2006 bucket pics were taken quite well. I like the angles. Great RnB work plus well placed weathering.

Here's what I have done... MLC modified Boba bucket but I kept the RF detail as is. I kinda liked the viewer unretracted.

Here is my reasonably finished BKBT2 helmet. I still need to add fans and finish wiring the servo controller.

Here's the final pic of my helmet. I took the control chips out of my helmet, and moved the control switches into my gauntlets. so I have just a single 9 pin connector coming out of my helmet, and running down my back into the gauntlets etc.

Rubies helmet, as for the colors the silver is the grey the helmet already comes with just clear coated, krylon ford dark blue, the lighter blue is from the local .99 cent store so the can just said BLUE. weathering was done with tamiya metalic grey and testors flat black..

Geez Seeker, I love your room!

Two questions for ya! Can you tell me what mannequin your using for your jango and if your using a mannequin for your boba, What type is that one? :D

Also, what display cabinet are ya using, I think I'd like to pick a set of those up :D

I'll post a pic or two of my collection.

Thanks man.

let me see if i could find photos of my mannequin somewhere. it just a hard plastic women figure. i just butchered her up a bit. flatten things out ;)

then i heated her up and twisted her legs here and there.

for the boba torso its a conbination of sintra and a small T-shirt type torso.

those look like the infamous ikea lighted shelves you got there too...im waiting to get a new rug down in my "room" and ill be adding a mannequin or two and some storage cases like that..got so much stuff and it really needs some organization
