Ok so 5 days till D*C here's where we are... First full test fitting...
Known issues... (I know we had the shins reversed...:
1. tweak the back pack strapping
2. touch up paint backpack
3. tweak the cos / holster belt
4. figure out a way to keep the right knee from breaking at the inside joint...
5. a little bit of grime...
What do you guys think...

Obviously your time is limited...but if you do have time I'd add purple to the jumpsuit and also try to make it look a bit more faded. Right now it screams bright blue and it looks insanely clean. I'd also recommend cutting the ammo pouches shorter. It looks like you just need to make the front of them shorter. They look way too tall and the rounded part comes down too far, in some cases well below the bottom of the pouch. The girth belt is also way too wide. It should have 19 strands and be about 5" tall. If your son is well over 5'10" you can make it wider, but not too much wider. There should only be a couple of girth belt strands showing above and below the ammo pouches. From the looks of it, I'd recommend losing at least 4 or 5 strands from the girth belt. A couple above and a couple below.
He marched with the 501st in the D*C parade... only had one minor failure one of the chicago screws worked loose on the holster..
