A flower vase! Great thinking! Those are coming along great man.
Thanks for the tips. A flower vase (wonders what the code word means)?
Seriously, great work! My only question is the positioning of the whip cord housing. Is it slightly too high on the gaunt?
Lookin great bro!
Ever since you told me at CIV you were going to make these, I have been patiently waiting. You are going to have the sliding pin closure right? I can't wait to see the finished product.
Looking great!!! As always, of course!
So looking forward to the finished gauntlets.
Excellent work, I look forward to seeing the end result.
I have been looking for some nice Gauntlets.
Lorenzon there are alot more people on here that will critique you than I. My only suggestion is to blacken out any lines you may have so others can compare them to ref pics.
Personally I think they are awesome man!!
Thanks guys. I've already made a couple of modification according to some feedback, and I'll check on that whipcord positioning.
Firstsonofsolo, your right, it will be easier to discern details once everything is one color...and not a palette of plastic, glue, bondo, and spot putty! Once I have all the pieces built, I'll give em all a coat of professional auto primer and then the details will be able to be seen better.
I'm working on the flamethrower at the moment, but I actually had to report back to work today...so fewer hours to prop build now.
I should have the left gauntlet temporarily assembled by tonight, so I'll shoot some progress pics and post em.
Wow, as always, your making amazing stuff! Any guess on a price? And what are you going to cast them in? Sorry if you stated that already and I missed it. I'd love to see every little detail your putting in to these on the final product!
A few more progress pics.
Looking good as always Cruz!
...very kewel...cannot wait until these get molded
Man those are looken sharp there. I cant wait to see the finished product. You got some skills! :thumbup
Cruzer, If you have some MoW gauntlets to put next to your gauntlets as comparision, I would really apreciate it
Thanks for the positive support guys...it's moving this project along. They are still both 8.5" in length and fit my 7.25" wrists and 12" forearms perfectly while I'm wearing wool insulated leather gloves and jumpsuit sleeves.
A few more progress pics.

great work cruzer!!
Sweetness!!! Very nice job L!
Those look great!
Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. Let me know of any suggestions.
I'll notch out the recessed areas for the exposed hinge once I receive some very accurate hinge that's coming all the way from Italy.
I'll also start fabricating the right gauntlet top hose attachment and hose fittings, and flamethrower nozzles.
I edited the thread with some better pics.
You think they'll too small for my scale?
In my opinion these have been scaled to ideally fit anyone between 5'6"-5'10"!
