    Thanks for the comments guys.

The gloves are Ladies cashmere lined navy blue leather gloves sourced here: Ladies Fownes Cashmere lined Navy Leather Gloves,Med - eBay (item 380174264052 end time Aug-30-10 09:41:26 PDT)

The helmet visor is dark grey not green. I believe this is screen-accurate.

I would consider using hidden straps to hold on the shin armor. Looks like they're stuck to the suit.

They were for the photo. They will be hidden strapped after the final fit. As will the knees and thighs.

You can save time and headache if you attach your holsters to your thighs. No straps needed. Most Jangos do this. The holsters need to be adjusted to sit properly, but the holster leg strap will hold the armor in place. You can use a chicago screw to attach them together.

    Re: My Jango Fett

May I ask a couple questions related to what has been discussed thus far?

Gloves - Are those the correct style/color glove? are there any other options or is the set listed on the ebay link the correct ones to go for?

Shine Straps - How exactly are they attached to the suit, what is this 'hidden strap' method?

    Cheers guys

Gloves: These are the closest I could find to the style/colour of the originals. I'm not saying they are screen accurate, but I think they look great. Comfy too.
Shin straps: I will be cutting slit eyelets into the seam of the jumpsuit to be able to pass an elastic strap around the back of my calf inside the jumpsuit and attached to the armour. This will hold the plate against my shin and still have the strap remain hidden. Hope this is clear.

Quick update: Almost done with my Arena Jet Pack. It's a Man of War, naturally. I'm not the best painter in the world so its a little ropey around the edges. I couldn't be bothered with rub-n-buff so the metal parts are Plastikote Aluminium. The other two colours are Rover Tahiti Blue and Plastikote Rustic Blue.

Looks really nice...you can always try some drybrush weathering to hide some of the paint smudges a bit. also that light blue looks a little too blue and not so much a bluish gray but perhaps it is the lighting. Looks good.

Thanks sandy. Weathering will hide my sins. The light blue isn't quite right, I know. But it'll do to be getting on with.

Here is the blue I used if it helps: Rustoleum Painter's Touch Satin Slate Blue (249066)

Don't worry about hiding sins, sins are the reason my jet pack is weathered

Thanks for the heads up on the colour. I think I'll try to pick up a few Montana rattlecans in a better shade. Finished my DarkSide knees last night. Not much left to do now. I need to chicago screw the holsters to the thigh armour, attach elastic to the shins and boot armour, fit the harness to the JP, and then just final fit and weathering. I would say 95% done.

Either color is considered canon for Jango. In the Bounty Hunter video game, his visor is green, thus the allowance for either color... especially seeing as the dark green appears black when the helmet is being worn.
