My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

So finally I decided to make a proper entrance to this great forum.

I hope I may post this thread like this and Mirax haven't got to kick me out if I do something wrong.

To introduce myself, I'm a prop newbie from Germany building on my Jango Fett 1.0. My only prop experience so far was a custom dark jedi costume (*caution advertising!* which can be seen soon in the upcoming short fanfilm Lord's Legacy ), which wasn't by far as prop-heavy as a Jango.
However since a couple of persons mentioned on a convention 2002 I would look a bit like Jango (don't ask me why, I myself don't see something equal except for the black hair and brown eyes), the idea was born of getting a Jango costume for the EP III premiere. Until beginning of this year it stayed only an idea. But since christmas I started getting parts from here and there and now I'm finally in it, working on the costume!

To start with what I already have:
The armor I got from another german mandalorian who made them with pvc (many kudos to admfrancis). Although the backpiece isn't finished yet, they really look great. The codpiece he got from another guy in the UK made from fibreglass which he will painbt the same way for me as he did the rest.

The Gauntlets I got also from the UK via ebay from frank-n-son (if someone know him), which where a bit of a disappointment, although I knew mine were the prototypes for the Jangos (as he did only Bobas ESB and ROTJs before). It was clear that a lot of work would go into these before wearing them proudly.

A fibreglass helmet kit I got from a propmaker downunder Australia. I'm not sure, but the original mold may have been a Don Post, perhaps here someone does recognize it (pics following later).

Blasters and Holster were the Rubies one. The Blaster will be ofcourse modified and repainted. The Holster don't look too bad if you stand a couple of meters away, but is a quite ****** plastic piece after all. However I thought I will use it as model for making one of real leather as well as the ammobelt.
As Rope Belt a usual horse girth belt in brown like the Boba ESB has to do, as for the real thing in leather it lacks the time and money.

I also got a nice grey overall which will be modified. (I prefer the overall more grey than blue as it appeared in the movie especially on Geonosis). As Gloves I use those from the german army, which look quite accurate.
The leathervest I plan to make myself.

As I have plenty to do and not much time till EP III, the jet pack has to wait, although I already have projected a custom build "convertable" pack which can be easily refitted from stubby to classic version in minutes.

For many works I'll have to do, this forum is a great help, giving ideas and help, for which I as a newbie am very grateful. So I thought I open this thread to show step by step my work in progress, hoping to finish my Jango 1.0 before EP III premieres. Any comment, ideas, help, anything is welcome.

I started with the gauntlets. The first pic shows them as they were (and they look on this pic much better as they REALLY were).
Although the shape of the gauntlets isn't very screenaccurate I decided to go for the accurate details except for the overall shape which would cost too much time to redo (crazy guys like you are to blame that I wanted to do it myself too! ).
First I cut the pieces to the right size for me.
The right gauntlet I removed some Boba edges, cutted and engraved some details as well as adding the switches (which will of course removed again before painting).
For the left I did the same. Fitted (not seen on pic) the red LED (yes, I'm even going to electrify the gauntlets although I'm really greenhorn in doing electric stuff).
The Rocket I removed and reshaped to be more accurate as well. Only need to be painted now.
The next steps will be to use the filler to smoothen everything up and fit the parts together.

Please excuse the weak quality of the pics as they were made with the cam of my mobile phone.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

I know it's an awfull short time, that's the reason why the jet pack has to wait and won't be done for the premiere (it's also easier sitting in the cinema without it ).
Well, for the rest, I hope I will manage to do it. At least I got a lil help from my girlfriend for the overall modifications, which I will keep to the necessary things (for example those "ripples" around the waist will be left away, as the won't be seen under the vest anyway).

By the way, does anyone know if the UK Bobamaker takes a leave right now? I already wrote him twice in the last weeks without getting a response, because I need to order a visor for my helmet, and his seem to be definitly the best to get.

Countdown going on. Anyone want to set bets on the outcome?

I'm sure that costume will be awsome. The armor looks incredible! Just don't over work yourself and get burned out and quit. That would suck. It's really rewarding to look in the mirror with the finished product, just remember that!

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

Well, thnx to all. Will let Francis know that you liked his work on the armor.
And No, I'm not gonna quit, I'm far too stubborn for that..

Today I did some filling work. But I still have to do some more with a fine-filler as I used now a fibreglass filler which get's pretty strong when dried, but isn't very good too handle for smaller filling works.

I especially worked on my "selfmade flare nuts".
As I couldn't find those anywhere, I decided to make them myself. As we say in Germany "self is the man" (yikes! Sounds strange in english) and it's quite cost-efficient too.

I used a normal screw and nut, smeared the fibreglass filler on the top above the nut and then simply sand it with a rotary tool (a small minicraft) to the right shape, primed it and finally painted it silver, et voila, perfect flare nuts, which even have that slight curved line as the original.
So I got my two flamethrower nozzles and the two for the hoses on the right gaunt.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

By the way, does anyone have a good pic of the part of he right gauntlet where the second lower hose is attached to (that pipelike thing)?
I could only find some shots from the movie on which not much can be seen.

    Would be a great help.

PS: How do I pm BM here?

Wow I like the self-made flare nuts, keep up the good work! As for a gauntlet shot, I'll look around...

    :EDIT:

Alright well this is not the actual Jango costume, this is SEEKER. (Hope you don't mind me posting this...). IMHO this is as good as the original, so here is a pretty good shot of the part your talking about.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

@ askywalker98: Thnx for the pic.

But still it can't be seen clearly how the second lower hose is attached beneath the "dart-gun" mainbody.
On the pics of the blade poping out from the movie it seems there's a pipe beneath into which that hose leads, but I'm not sure about it.

Would be great if anyone can help.

    Just a short update today.

    Mostly done filler work again.
Also electrified the left gauntlet with the red LED (which will be build in after painting) and fixed the parts with filler. On the pic you can also see the fibreglass-filled hinches.
Also almost finished modifications (used a simple nail as headpin) and the paintjob on the rocket.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

I finsihed the detailing work on the flamethrower (still have to add the two buttons (selfmade of course ) and finally primed both gauntlets. Looked quit nice after that. I also applied the first coat of automotive chrome color this evening.
I can't wait to see them finished with all the buttons, switches and the LED.

Additionally I started modifieing the first Rubie's blaster. They are pretty nice to work on. Primed it too.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

After a week off, I plunged back into work today. 8)

At first I added some further details on the gauntlets, especially the pipe (a coppertube which I carefully bended and cut) and the connector for the second lower hose on the side of the right one.

Modified the second blaster and primed both of them.

and tataa! I started to work on my helmet.
I bought it from a prop builder from Australia. I don't know what kind of helmet was the original mold, but if the bobamakers T-Visor (which arrived yesterday. Thanks again to BM! Although it's not green-tinted it's absolutly great!) really fits exactly to the DPs (Altmann and Rubies), my helmet wasn't molded from them as it's a little bit wider.
I sanded it and cut the back holes out. Then I corrected the front part for the Visor (which was already cut out). Thanks to Seeker for showing us the correct Visor cut out. ...although I wasn't crazy enough to rework the mandibles as well (but if I had the time... who knows? ).
Also I started with the sanding of the Resin side parts, which really took some time as their surface was kind of bubbly.

    Busy day...

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

The last two days I spent with the priming of the helmet and painting of the blasters and finsihing the gauntlets.

The Helmet is sadly a little disappointment, for the Resin parts aren't very accurate. Especially the earcaps are too short!
The right one I stretched a little by glueing the two parts a bit further away from each other, but about the left I couldn't do much. That's the reason why I don't filled the gaps between the parts and the helmet after glueing, because someday I might get my hands on some more accurate parts and can replace them more easily then. However for EpIII it will do (as in Germany there aren't so much accurate mandalorians around as i the US either ).
Today the first coat of blue will be painted.

The blasters are already painted in silver (grip) and chrome. Only have to get some coats of gold. By the way, the for the gold paint taped blasters look quite interesting... imagine them painted completly in flat black.

The gauntlets are quite finished. They only need some weathering, which will wait until the helmet needs it too. I finally added the 6 aluminium darts (the only really good thing that came with these gauntlets ) and padded the inside of the gauntlets, so they are really comfortable to wear now (the small "slot" cutted in the upholster is the access for the battery).
Only the hoses still need to be dyed and I have to upgrade the kaminoan sabredart.

I'm not breaking out in sweat, but it's really exactly only 4 weeks to go! Yahooo!

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

While it got a little bit quite around here (obviously because CIII me thinx), I'm continuing my work for the premiere (for which I got the tickets yesterday! We'll be around 30 costumed fans there. Really looking forward to it. ).

I started the last few days with painting the blue parts of the helmet and will probably today go on with the chrom.
Also many thanx to BKBT, who helps me out on getting those pinstrips. He's really a great mandalorian! :thumbup

Also the blasters are almost finished. I only screwed up with the gold parts on the barrel as the color sticked more to the tape than to the ground. But I guess some hand-finishing should take care of it.

Also Francis finished the backplate for my armor and the painting of the cod piece (which is from a UK propmaker). He and especially his girlfriend, which did the paint- and weatheringjob , did an extraordinairy awesome work! :thumbup
I can't wait to lay my hands on it when the complete armor arrives about early next week. Yahooo!

AND yesterday the leather for the ammopouches/belt & the holsters arrived. It's a real smooth and fine piece, which will be (if I don't screw up) turned into the most screen-accurate piece of my costume I guess.
    Beware Seeker! I'm coming!

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

Just a lifesign to proove that I didn't give up.

Although I really had troubles with my helmet.
As I wanted to paint the chrom last weekend, I taped all the blue areas. But as I did I ran out of masking tape and due to being the weekend there wasn't a store open still. So I thought I'd use usual tape, that should keep the paint away from the masked parts as well.
...well it did, but the bad side of the story, while removing that tape all of the glue sticked to the helmet!
It took me many many hours during this weeks to get all those glue marks off (the only thing that works without damaging the paintjob is plant oil, but it takes an awful lot of time!).
It's almost done now (only just a lil work to do on the back) and my nerves are quiet on the edge concerning the helmet! But I think, it doesn't look too bad now. Will add another thin coat of chrom after all cleaning is done (because it got a lil bit dull while cleaning) and the pinstripes (thnx Vince) and install the rangefinder.

But besides I started to cut the pieces for the belt&holster. The pieces for the pouches look already great. At least one thing seem to turn out as planed after all.

@ askywalker98: No, I'd love to, but sadly there is no rub-n-buff in Germany. And as my budget for my Jango is on the edge already, I can't order some from the US right now.
But I think covering it with slightly more weathering than usual, it should look quit good as well.

Well then goodluck with that! I hope it all works out for you even without rub n buff! You could try looking into these Alcad II paints people have been talking about. Not sure the price on that though. Goodluck!

Thanx. But as far as I know, no Alcad either in germany (that really sucks! There are so many parts and stuff hard or never to get here, for which you guys simple have to go to a superstore.)

Anyway, as I'm not to happy with the bucket itself, I guess there will be a Jango 1.1 someday with a new one, which will be then rub-n-buffed.

Anyways now I have made some serious upgrades. It just takes some serious patience. Just stay focused and don't shoot for SEEKER accurate and doom yourself to failure. He has spent many MANY hours (atleast, I'm pretty sure he has) making his costume what it is today. Just dont loose your love for the costume! Goodluck!

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

Thanx guys for your supportive quotes! That's really nice and that's what I think makes TDH so special. Here goes one for you all.

@askywalker98: ...at least you should have taken the orange caps of...
Well, of course I know, that reaching Seekers standards is quit impossible for a 1.0. But I'm kinda lazy, so I try to hit the mark as good as possible by the first try, so I don't have to do it again.
and although I'm a prop newbie, I'm building small modellkits for years now, so I'm already infected with the accuracy-and-detailobsession-virus for long.

@lilburndiablo: sure it's for the fun, but it still could be sometimes frustrating if something doesn't work out as you planned. But I admit, these are only short moments (in which I would throw everything straight out of the window) and then the work goes on.
Without wanting to get philosophical: Isn't that what's life is all about? Overcoming every obstacle and leave it with a smile behind? 8)

@R_boba_fett: Same here. Ever tried to explain to some one what a flare nut should be in your own language? I'm now always printing out a picture of those parts to show the people, that often helps.

For the progress on my Jango:
I finally finished the ammopouches! They look absolutly great! I checked with as many original pics I could find and glued them completly, as the original as well seem to have no sewing or riveting at all. Will post some pics later if the holster is finished too. I dare to say, those pouches might even be nearly to being Seeker-approved. I love them.
The holster is almost finished. I discovered some new (to me) details from the original and did mine the same. Perhaps after I'm done I might set up a mini-tutorial with some templates or so, if somebody's interested.

I got also the genuine leather for the vest today. It's fantastic. Judging from the original pics, the material hits the nail right on its head. Will start on it Friday and pray that I won't screw it up, as the leather is so perfect.

16 days to go on this countdown. It sure will be a close call.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

OK. Here comes a scan as template for the holster.

You will be needing 4 of these parts (two like this and two mirrored) as I noticed that the original belt seems to be smooth-sided on both sides (to the interior and to the back), which is with only one piece as far as I know impossible (as every piece of genuine leather always has a smooth and a rough side). So I suppose they have simply glued two mirrored pieces together (and if you look carefully, the backplate of the holster looks a bit thicker and "sandwiched" than the other leather parts like pouches etc.).

I used as an original model the rubies holster (don't laugh!), and modified the lines to match the look of the original and also prolonged it about an inch so the replica westars should fit well into it too. By checking the size optically on myself (as I'm about same as tall as Tem) compared to promo shots I think it should be the right size and length (sure, the backplate seems bare a little bit wider than the original holster, but remember, after attaching the upperside there will be about .5mm glued flat on the edges so the volume of the holster itself will look slimmer in the end).

By the way the measure marks are in cm not inch.

WOW! I HAVE MY FIRST FAN!
That's really honey going down my throat that you do appreciate my work on my 1.0! so much.

To celebrate this I took a picture of the finished ammobelt and the "almost there" holster for you.
It's not of good quality and the belt&holster does look far better in real (also the leather isn't as "redish" as it seems on this pic).
But there will be some high quality pics coming after the premiere for the whole Jango then.

Thanx again guys. It's really fantastic to get all your support!

...hmm, thinking about "Official Wasp fan" T-shirts...

NO! it's definitly not pink! I'm not doing a mango fett.

Just a better pic o a single ammopouch. It's still not exactly showing the real color (which is a little darker and the edges are not yellow but have the same color as the scanned template piece), but is better than the red/pink.

And finally my armor is complete!
The fibreglass kneearmor from starfortress arrived and it's absolutly great!
Only flaw, they are a little bit too tight.

now lets see it all together man!!! cant wait!!!
ow an I thought you missed an ammo-pouch, because my belt (wich is actually a jango fett ammo-belt), has 8... so... before I posted... I went to take a look at my poster with Jango on it... and he has 7 pouches... now why on earth would my jango belt, used on my Boba... have 8??? (ordered through a guy from australia... I wanted to make leather one smyself... but 99 euros for a few square meters of leather.. an i wouldnt know if id screw up or not... so checked ebay, an this one was about 70 euros or so, with real workin pouches, velcro closure, but I'm thinking about replacing it with a rufkintoy ammobelt 1 day...)

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

Jep, seven is the right number. ...although...
In one of the promoshots I discovered that there seem to be another holding piece of the pouches on the belt on the left side, but without pouch.
Perhaps there were originally 8 of them, but they took one off or it fell off or simply looked too crowded? who knows?

    As for the leather: 99€????
I got my piece (check the pic above on this thread) for only 30€ including postage via ebay. And even if I would have bought it in the leather store here, it wouldn't had cost more than 40-45€.
And you really don't need too much. a piece of 140x100(cm will be way enough for the complete belt with pouches and the holster.

    As for my progress:
******! raptorarts really infected me with his cardboard/papermache jet pack!
I'm going to do one myself, so I will be complete even with a jet pack till EIII without blowing my budget up.
Will though do some modifications on it, so it shall be the most screenaccurate papermache jet pack ever! (well, on the other hand, I would be proud of myself if it'll work at all )

And, I know, I am mean R boba fett, but there will be no "all together" pics until it's complete. Be pasioned my friend. Then you will get some high quality pics finally.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

yippiyahyeh! I'm gonna geta jet pack!

I was so fascinated with raptorarts cardboard/papermache jet pack, that I started my own on right away.
I started with collecting every measurement I could find about the pack in here (thanx again to TDH, a real treasure box). Then I was lucky to have a cardboard box around, from which I could cut out the whole basic mainbody in one piece and folded it as needed.
I was pretty suprised how accurate to the measures it turn out.

But the best above all: I really have some great fun with building it, as it reminds me of my childhood days, crawling and sitting on the ground and building huge (of course compared to a small childs size) spaceships out of cardboard boxes complete with cockpits and anything in which I loved to play.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

As promised a some new pics today:

the last two days I was at home at my parents, so I couldn't work on the jet pack further but will do so tomorrow.
However, with a lot of help of my Mom (basically she did all the sewing while I the cutting) the vest is now almost finished now (of course the velcro is missing). It turned out great me thinx (thanx again to Seeker for his referances).

I'm very happy to announce that I also found by accident a pair of great Jango shoes (The "silverstripes" are only testfitted tapestripes). See more on specific thread http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showt...884#post109884

    10 days to go...

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

Thank you for your appreciation. It's always encouraging, especially when not everything turns out as planned.

    However...
    Good news everyone!:
The technique of Rednave worked pretty well on my knee armor.
I also used the same method on the PVC shoearmor to fit them perfectly to the new shoes. The PVC gets bendable like a piece of thick rubber after one minute in the oven and can be formed exactly into the shape beneath.

Wouldn't it be for the burned skin that technique would be great to shape a roman centurions chest/belly armor piece (of course only if you have a sixpack-muscles shape )...

And as I hadn't got the time for some further progress with some pics, how about this new developed dart-armed shoe armor?
Well, I guess, if you're unlucky while firing those darts, you'll hit some vital parts of yourself.

Wow, you're costume is coming along very nicely, very quickly! I look forward to seeing the finished product!

You said that your knee dart's bands are permanently glued? Does this mean you have to wear them outside your pants? I know it seems like a dumb, obvious question, but I'm curious if this is your intention.

just kidding. I'm not sure about the jet pack, but finally I have all the materials and parts to finish my Jango.
Although nothing is "really" finished yet, I think it should work out.

@ Skalen Fehl: Jep, they are originally intended to be worn above the suit. But as I'm already infected with that suspicous Seeker-virus, I will cut the band and sew a clip-closure to them and will wear them through a hole under the suit.

just as life sign, that I'm still around.

4 days left and still an awful lot of work to do.

The last few days weren't very productive. Tried to glue on the Visor, but it didn't worked well, so I have to do it again (I'm hoping that my nightmare won't come true ). The straps for the shoearmor I attached with glassfibre filler, but unfortunatly I didn't use enough hardener to reach the critical point of kicking off the hardening process... so another thing to do twice.

However I finished finally he tholsters and the boots and found the cardboard mainbody for the jet pack.

Tomorrow will be a busy day, with hopefully more things finished and new pics for you to see.

The helmet comes from a recaster called chris hull, who used to work under the name of 'ozprops' until he got banned from ebay for not delivering, but now selling thru a pal of his called 'dakamOz".
It's a 'filled in' recast of an altmann's.
And,i know what you mean about the ears.............

pm me for more details,if you like, although,i suspect it's a little too late.

Sorry no time for pics, but tomorrow you'll get some, I promise.
    As for the progress:
Holster attached to the Rope belt and filled with blasters.
Kneearmor straps modified with a clip-closure, and darts attached and filled.
    Shoearmor straps attached and glassfibred.
Half of the T-Visor carefully hotglued into the helmet (man, that's a painstackingly slow process!).
Some minor progress on the jet pack.

    That's it for now.

By the way, thanx guys. I'm happy you like the vest. But much of the credit ows my mother as she did all the sewing.

..if hotglue fails, u could try to screw it on the helmet. CAREFULLY !!! and sand up the peaks.

but it isn't a good idea to do that after the paintjob....

here is a pic of my visor.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

Thanx Francis. But I already hotglued it on.
Today was a bussy one. Most time spent on the helmet:
Visor finished, chrom painted, helmet patting to fit my head installed, keyhole grit attached (I like the grit version most, although it might not be screen-accurate), RF screwed on, earcap on RF glued on, pinstripes added, and attached the velcro for the leather gasket (not finished yet).
Will do weathering tonight as well as for the knee armor and the gauntlets.

Attached also all the velcro on the armor pieces and the vest.

A lot of work went also into the overall, for which I'm very grateful to my gf as she still sits right now on it, sewing.

As I can't do anything Tuesday, tomorrow is the final day for big stuff, so it's very doughtful that the jet pack will be finished in time, although I decided, that if I can finish the building of it I will prime it with one overall coat of black and then silver and will wear it in silver for the premiere, as finishing the right paintjob just takes too much time.

Hopefully more pics tomorrow for you.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

just a second post before going to sleep...

Thanx fellows. I can't say it often enough, it's really great to read all your encouraging responses after a hard day of work on my Jango.

After working deep into the night (night it's 5am in the morning now! ), I finally finished my helmet including the weathering (which gracefully covered some paintjob flaws as well ).
Many thanx to all the gals and guys who's knowledge in this forum helped and inspired me, especially BKBT and Francis.

also almost finished the Overall and the armor attached to the vest (many kisses to my gf for both) and the weathering of the gauntlets and the knee armor.

Enjoy the pics (although the quality is bad as usual ).
    Good Night/Morning/whatever...

PS: Marc, of course the Referance CD helped really a lot! I'm sorry I hadn't much time for ICQ lately. Anyway: THANX! you're great! :thumbup

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

    TAATAAA!!
I actually finished my Jango 1.0 today!
Although the jet pack will not be finished till EIII, I reached the goal of this countdown, as a jet pack wasn't originally intended for my 1.0, but was added after I saw raptorarts.
I'm sorry if you have to wait a while longer before you get to see it, but I want to post some high quality pics of the complete Jango instead of the campics.
Also more details on the final costume, I will tell you later. As I have some familybusiness to attend till the premiere.

But as a small comfort for my TDHers, a shot from the jet pack in progress for you, just to show, why it takes so long and that I'm really determined to do the most screen-accurate cardboard/papermache jet pack up to date.

Thank you all for all the help, encouragements and interest.
    Arno (now officially a )

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

    FINALLY!!! I got the pictures!

Actually it was the first time I could see my Jango in his full glory myself.

To honor your patience and your encouragement throughout the countdown, now you finally get a bunch of pics of the finished Jango 1.0.
    Hope you'll enjoy them.

PS: a couple more from the E3 premiere in the Sarlacc Pit.

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

Thanx Francis. It was a great feeling to finally wear it after this nervbreaking countdown.

As my Jango in this form would have never become reality, if it weren't for certain people, I want to thank:

my gf and my mom, for all the sewing and not wishing me to hell for it,

Francis and his gf, for the armor and the paintjob on it and a lot of advise,

the guy from my local leather store, who was always helpful if I needed some cutting or any advise for leatherworks,

BKBT, for helping me out with the pinstripes and the inspiration of his helmet build-up,

Skalen Fehl, for having the patience to send me the Jango Referances via ICQ,

Seeker, for his vest referances and his inspiration of a perfect Jango,

all TDHers, but especially askywalker98 and R_boba fett to name two, for their ongoing encouragements, help and inspirations throughout the countdown,

raptorarts, for being the one to blame, that I'll sit on that cardboard/papermache jet pack for the next time .

Mirax, for allowing me to have posted this thread for my Jango 1.0

    THANK YOU!

    PS: I hope I didn't forget anybody...

That's such a sweet Jango dude! And I feel great that you thanked me for supporting you throughout this campaign! If you ever upgrade, I would get a different bucket, although yours looks pretty nice right now! And also get armor that is more proportional to your body. The leg armor is awsome, but the chest armor could use a bit of help. I love it though! Very VERY SWEET!!!

Re: My Jango 1.0 build-up Countdown to EP III (pic-heavy!)

Well, as the premiere is now a little ago and I did reach my goal for it. There's nothing more to do here...

...except for that ominous cardboard jet pack!

But as this thread was only meant as premiere countdown, I'm starting a new one specificaly for the jet pack, which will contain lots of step by step pics for every part which will ultimatly lead to the most-screenaccurate cardboard/papermache jet pack ever.

However thanx again gals and guys for all your help and support!

    ...let's move on!
