I made a number of mods to the MOW Jet Pack to make it a little more Jango accurate. I used slightly different colors from Turo's recommendation. So anyways, here it is.

WOW dude I LLLLLLLOOOOOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEE that blue how did you come up with it? It looks like the cutom mix I did for Jimmys Jango #2 pack but much more brilliant! Looks to even have a touch of metallic!
Here's the complete color list:
Blue: Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Deep Blue, lightly misted with Rust-oleum Royal Blue.
Yellow: Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Marigold, misted with Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Real Orange and Rust-Oleum Leather Brown.
Burgundy: Rust-Oleum American Accents Garnet Red, misted with Rust-Oleum Leather Brown.
Everything was clear coated with Krylon Satin Clearcoat.
VERY NICE!Great weathering too!
nice job fox
Awesome!
I really like that shade of blue, too.

Very nice colors, and the weathering looks great too.![]()
Very nice work there bro - very nice !!!!
Great job with the jet pack Donny!!
It looks very nice Donny!
I love the colors.
The colors that I used on my jet pack were to be like the Prepo Fett. I just love the colors on that Prepo.
But now i know what to use if I wanna do a Jango Jet Pack. it looks really good.
Great work as usual Donny!![]()
Thanks guys!
Turo - your colors were actually very helpful, especially the leather brown. It really finished off the yellow and red quite nicely.
Nice paint job! I'm going to be gathering up the paint based off the Seeker reference pic but what did you use for the missle? Specifically, is that R&B at the top of the missle and what color is that between the white and silver?
RnB on the top of the missile, weathered black in between the white and silver.
Thanks, picked up all the paint today minus two colors I still have to get.
Thats amazing ner vode great job
Awesome jet pack Fox!
That's a nice jet pack. Do you know who makes them? I'm trying to get new one like yours. Thanks.![]()
I think thats the best Jango Classic pack I've ever seen, including the screen used one!
Top effort on the paint job too.
Cheers!
Wow, thanks for the huge compliment! When I get around to it, I'll post some pictures of how I attached the rocket.
I really like that blue and revisit this thread just to admire the result it gave you!

Good job.![]()
Goddess that is a beauty, cannot wait til my MoW pack gets here now.
Well I could not wait anyway but seeing that just made me want it all the sooner!
Alexis
*smiles*
Thanks again for the compliments. With the renewed interest in my paintjob, I'll share some of my assembly with you.
The harness system is hooked up to two door handle pulls that I JB welded to the bottom then fiberglassed over to make them even more secure. It doesn't look like much, but its got it where it counts.
The rocket screws on with some PVC fittings I found at Home Depot.

For the rocket, is that just a PVC connector?
Yup, just some PVC fittings I found at home depot in the plumbing section.
so fox, you dont have a waist strap for your harness? also how did you rig up the part coming from your vest? did you actually cut holes in your vest?
http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f20/harness-help-20200/
Check out post #2 and #16 - that's exactly what I did for my harness
As for the vest...well my leather vest is not done yet but I will be cutting holes in the vest for the straps to go through.
i see that post and that looks great...but how do you keep the bottom of the jet pack secured to that harness so it doesnt flop around...i must be missing something...i see the clips that come over the front of the shoulders and through the vest, clipping to the top of the jet pack...but how is the bottom secured?
the bottom isn't secured right now. I'm taking a wait and see approach. Wearing it by itself, it doesn't really flop around. If it becomes a problem I can always add a 3rd strap or some velcro directly to the backplate.
your pack fiberglass or abs? mine is abs and i fear it would be too light and flop around...i thought about some kind of third strap, but some strategically placed velcro may be a good idea too...i thought the actual costume had a third strap?
Yes actual costume had a 3rd strap. My pack is resin.
thanks fox..ill have to take a trip to HD and grab one of those harnesses
They do still have Leather Brown (leather brown is not part of the American Accents line): http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=24
However, according to their website it looks like they may have eliminated Garnet Red. American Accents Colonial Red or Claret Wine might work.

It's way too bright. It might be useable if you went extremely heavy with the leather brown but I recommend starting with a much darker red.
Good job
Awesome Job !!
Update the pics in the first post...please!
I wanted to use them as reference for my last minute paint job I'm doing!![]()
Fixed just for you Lorenzo.![]()
Most excellent sir! Great looking pack. I have the Arena pack and this is making me think about getting the classic.
Thanks for working your magic...I'm off to paint my burgandy parts! Thanks man.![]()
Are there stencils available for the writing on the pack or did you just cut them out from electrical tape and stick them on there? Or did you paint them on? Also, regards the nozzles, the black lines, painted or tape? Thanks.
The black lines are painted, the writing is a decal set that lucksy31 sells.
