Metal jango gauntlet WIP

Jr Hunter
This is what happens when you say to heck with plastic. I got tired of trying to find help or tips on sintra so I decided to work with what I know, aluminum. In the pic everything is just taped into place temporarily until I get it trimmed and ready for assembly. There is still a few edges that need cleaned up before I can do that. Enjoy the pic.

I used the WOF templates for the gaunts as well as the rest of my armor. My helmet is 50% wof / 50% hardhat. My holster rig is all custom made from mossi-nagant slings.

Since my last post, I've gotten a little more work done. The gaunts both still need touch up, a light sanding, darts installed and hoses installed. The rocket needs the most work now. The tip needs to be ground down and both ends need to be epoxied in place. For the tip, I'm using an 8oz brass plumb bob (by the time I'm done cutting and grinding it will be about 3oz). The body is a GM 350 clutch pilot tool and the tail is the threaded end of the plumb bob. Enjoy the pics, BTW this is my first ever build.

Thanks. They were a pain to assemble for the smaller parts. I have a pic with a rough fit for all the metal. The belts need adjusting (and slid down), the shoulders need to be tamed a bit, and the shins need a bit more velcro or elastic to hold them in place. I used bronze automotive door bushings for the barrels for the flame throwers and the grapple gun. The darts are from a dremel kit (step drill bit with the cone shaped tip), these were the perfect size.
