Hey Cruzer, that looks good!
That's cool. Are those for you? You have lay-a-way?![]()
Yeah, Christmas lay-a-way!
![]()
man those look simply amazing!ive been dying for you to do another guant run! so whenever that happens...................
Those gauntlets are amazing man:thumbup
Put me down for your next run for sure![]()
Those are looking sweetAre you planing to do a CC run? Or was this just a fun little experiment on your part?
Awwww, that is just to nice![]()
Beautiful work man. Soooo bright and shinny.
Thanks guys. Right now I'm just messing around trying to see if I can perfect the CC process by adjusting the resin/aluminum/hardener ratio to meet my curing desires, seeing how many layers of CC are ideal for verticle surfaces before laying fiberglass cloth and resin, realizing problem areas, and trying to figure out causes of any imperfections on the surface. I've been promising Dark-Side a pair forever, so I'll make him a pair initially and then myself, and afterwards probably make only a few pair available for others who are highly interested. Dark-Side has really nailed the whole CC process, so I'm just hoping to get to his level of understanding.
Here's one more inside pic.![]()
Hey Cruzer, didn't you do a set for Jango 5204 which were larger sized? I remember someone doing a large size Jango gauntlet, and I could use a larger set myself...mine are excruciatingly difficult to try to fit my arms in :P
Cruzer, Yor are the big brother that i never had!!!!
(clearly with long hair!!!)
Anyway, the result is perfect! I can't wait to have them!!!![]()
There is a difference in finish between these two test pulls that's slightly seen in the pic.
Well im HIGHLY INTERESTED. Those look beautifull.. Ill be watching
To make all of the attachments that go on the shells in CC, would require me to remake all of those molds in order to minimize the appearance of seam lines. As my molds stand right now, it would be a waste of material to pour CC resin into them. So hopefully down the road I'll be able to get to those molds.![]()
Nice work Lorenzo. Daz, (Bobamaker) do CC work also. Don't know whether you could get support from him.
Those are awesome bro!....Love to have a pair...hehe!
Any chance I could be in your family...![]()
I'll try to produce as many sets as I can. But BobaFettSlave_1 caught on when I said "...highly interested". With the costs of having to make all new molds specifically for cc production, the slightly higher cost of cc materials, the extra care and time it takes to work with this stuff, and with me finding less and less time to work on props these days, I estimate a complete cc gauntlet kit would be in the $450 range. With that price range in mind, this project will probably be limited.

Well I really only need ONE kidney to survive right?
Hahahahaha
OUTSTANDING!! Ive been waiting for you to make these since you first mentioned it a long time ago. Super job Cruzer!!![]()
phew 450 is extremely interesting isn't it!? though understandable, alot of work clearly goes into it. Have you thought of doing an old run for good times?Keep up the outstanding work!

Actually...when one considers that with CC quite a few of the finishing steps are eliminated (i.e. spot filling, sanding, primering, sanding, spot filling again overlooked areas, primering again, sanding again, and then finally Rn'B'ing)...one could argue that the increase in price is "cost effective" because there is a decrease in work. Not to mention, the finished surface is more desirable because it is a screen-accurate finish.![]()
Sorry I wasn't paying attention I'm on the phone with a Chinese Apothecary who is interested in at least some of my less useful organs....by the way, what is a Gall Bladder good for? It didn't sound important, I mean I never heard them mention it on E.R. so I figured I'd sell it.
Seriously though, I love those gauntlets. Hopefully, I'll be in for a set when you make a run. Truth is I can afford it but I just got the gauntlet kit from you finished and I'd kind of like to show em off a little.
I'll always offer gel-coat versions, but my "old" molds are already starting to become brittle and will soon see the last of their quality pulls. So, hopefully with these new molds I'll be able to continue offering gel-coat versions, and add CC versions to the "menu".![]()
Hey, if you can't see it...you probably don't need it, right! Plus, you can probably get replacement parts at Walmart these days!
Thanks for the laugh wise guy!
Seriously though, I'm always open to possible trades that don't consist of vital organ parts...and more kids!![]()
$450 range for it is ok if you include the complete kit including the missile, hardware ect...That is my opinion.
Ah by the way they looks greats!!!!!......
I will be watching this
Great woork as always cruzer![]()
