Helmet Looking for a Jango Fett Helmet

Hey People

I was curious on knowing where one can find a Jango Fett Helmet? Is the Rubies Collectors Edition Helmet Horrible or Should I get a DIY Helmet Kit? Also what colors would I paint the helmet if I were to perform a DIY? I'm looking for a way to replicate the chrome look Jango Fett Helmet had on it in the movies.​

I'd go with a bobamaker helmet. He has a tutorial on his website on how to paint it.

Cold Cast is the best way to get the correct look. The most commonly used colors for the helmet are Rustoleum Royal Blue and Krylon Shortcuts Ocean Blue.

I'd second the helmet by Bobamaker. It will already be trimmed and polished, you'll just need to mask and spray paint it. Then a little weathering. The Jango bucket is a very easy paint job, Weathering takes a little patience and done in layers, but the actual painting is simple. The Rubies is more suited for trick or treating honestly. Just depends on your budget and time factors. BM will probably be around a year wait for a lid. Email him and he'll get back to you.

Besides Bobamaker is getting a helmet from NME good to do or is there a major difference?

Yes there are differences. The NME helmet is just a generic mando helmet, not a Jango. The ears, and the shape is different.

If you get cold cast then you will not need a chrome or silver paint. I highly recommend cold cast.

What Mullreal said. The coldcast resin on the fiberglass Jango helmets and armor contains an aluminum powder that really shows the metal content when buffed with 0000 steel wool (under a small amount of cool water)

There re not many around that make Jango lids currently-

Animefan did, not sure if he still does animefan

If he does this may be your best choice for speed and quality.

Cruzer makes a nice fan cast lid originally made by bigkidbiggertoys. His armor and gauntlets are second to none.

I had Cruzer make me a "dented" helmet and do the paints for me, it turned out awesome and he was a pleasure to do business with.

I also have an old ASOK in my collection that I got second hand a while back and it is smaller the the (BKBT) Cruzer helmet in my collection.

The wait time for BM is pretty long though. So it also depends on when you really want it.

Like syllander said, I would not put it out there, even if I remembered, it is between the vendor and the customer. But I was more than happy with the whole transaction, I would PM him for any details.
