Looking for jango Fett boots....

Hey guys,im haveing a time findeing boots for my Jango,does any one have a link or could point me in the direction of a good set.

Yeah I have been hunting for months now as well.

OK, I will let you all in on a little secret. Jango Boots are nothing more than Black Hightops shoes at Disney. The Shoe armor covers that fact. I have a pair of boots I got from either Wal-Mart or Payless. It is a set of low cut boots that match Jango almost perfectly. The name brand I have for boots is Fadded Glory. That did come from Wal-Mart. I am a size 11 by the way.

Jango boots (accurate soled ones at least) are HARD-AS-HECK to find... but be patient and you CAN find them... I found mine on fleabay and got them for a steal at < $30... They are Bedford Stus and are a size 8, even though I wear a 9, so when looking take into consideration that they are made a little larger so you can look for a slightly smaller size even.

I'm with TLobe00 on this... I've been searching for a truly accurate pair for over three years now. I've got a pair of the now discontinued GBXs, which are close, but I'm still scouring for a nice pair of size 8 Bed Stus, Kenneth Coles or Pradas.

Finding the proper boots is the "Grail quest" of all Jango costumers.

Yup, I too, am looking for a size 11-12 and still nothing and it's well been over a year. I guess that thread where someone was asking for sole samples never took off

some one should do a run of them and make them for ever one

I may have inherited a pair that is too big for me. I'll check when I get home tonight. Maybe I'll stop at Walmart too.

Ok, here's the deal. I bought a Jango costume from someone in my garrison and the flightsuit and boots are way too big for me. In regards to this thread, I have a pair of Kenneth Cole Reaction boots, size 11, color BROWN. They are painted black but the paint is chipping off as they have been trooped in off and on for a few years. I'll put them up on the Cargo Hold.

I've got a pair of his original Real Life Clone boots and I couldn't be happier.
Comfortable and hard wearing. You could kick clankers in the bolts all day with these beauties. Giovanni is a stand up guy.

You can also take a look at amazon.com and search a Harley Davidson Pallas boot. Or, if money is not too much of an objetc, search Altberg Bootmakers (in the UK) and take a look at the SNEAKER AQUA police boot. Good luck to ya!

This is so great...I am glad some one has stepped up to tackle this...Glad you got a size 10 in there. Looking forward to making a purchase...but also can't wait to see the progress as you guys work on this.

I talked via messenger with EAGC, he putted his boots in a box, will go to the postmail tomorrow, he has the 10US, we still needing more sizes, stay tuned everybody.

I hope someone has a size 12 to volunteer to be cast....crossing fingers.

Yeah, I got rid of my Bed-Stus a few years ago and wish I hadn't. I'll be watching this thread for updates, as I'm very interested.

Squirk you will be able to get a second gen off your boots. You sold them to me and I sent them to have their soles molded.

OK, this weekend was the weekend the last w/e that I will troop fpr a while. My concern before I send out my 9.5 BED STU's is that they are a bit worn. Crow. Do you want some detailed pics before I send them to see if they are still usable?

SmuWindu, a brother on bikscout offer a 13UK to cast, his boots are on United Kingdom, we are looking the way to cast locally on UK that number, if you are 14US may be your dream is coming true.

I found out I know someone near Boston with US14 KC PC's. I'm not sure he'll be up to letting them out of his sight but I'll ask.

Crow its good to hear these are getting done...even better that's it's marcello and I happen to be the new guy with g2 so I'll have a direct hand with the casting of these and also since I will be picking up a pair from you crow (10.5) I'll make sure that we get them done quick I got a set of clone boots comin from ya and and I couldn't be more excited about em!!

DestructLad, the UK brother sent me a PM, he have experience in sil rtv and may be he send me the molds ready to, I think you must have to wait a days more before ask for that 14US size, I´ll let you know, thanks.

So, many G2 armors are coming, you must to sweat many there in Riverside, LOL, all this week I am sending clone boots, I will send you the track number, nice to meet you tuskenfett.

Yeah the dudes are great I guess I'm like marcellos apprentice and we got a ton of new stuff comin but it is nice to be able to contribute to our community.

I have a pair of 14's, would that be of any use at all? I mean, I know someone who is a 13 would be able to fit in them, but I don't want to help if I'm not really helping lol. I do hope more people jump in on this, it seems the average guys foot is between 10 and 13.

I had my grubby little fingers all over your boots and they are still ok me and Marcelo went over he casting process but the silicone isn't there yet we are picking It up wed I believe then casting them and sendin them out

I am still going to cooperatewith my BED STU's 9.5's but am working with Crow on some details. My boots have a little wear to them so I was wondering if they were viable. We are working that out now.

I used Military black Boots as option, take notes............Just remaining the silver paint...........Whats is your opinion??..

An UK7 is not the same as the US8?

They are euro 39.

Thrax, easy, Marcelo taked 4 casts this week, if we can find the another numbers we will make another set of casts.

I will talk with Marcelo on wekend about the boots devolution to the volunteers, thanks again brothers!!

Hey guys I don't want to step on toes cause I don't know who they belong to but we got a brown pair with "close" soles but not accurate with the blue stripe in the heel and ribs on the arch now if the goal of this project is "close enough" then we'll cast them but if it's for accurate then I would say it's not worth casting them. So whoever you are shoot crow or me a pm so we can decide what to do thanks!

after over 18 full moons Im finally back on this board and with my first post.

II have the casting mostly done, there is one part that I'm having a problem casting, and I'm talking with Crow62 about it, once I get his input on the little snag, we can go forward but I need his input on it.

Thank you all for being patient (the ones that have provided the boots so far) and for the ones anxiously waiting for a final part

BTW for the ones that have provided the boots, THANK YOU and rest assure that they are in safe hands, I only dropped one pair in water last week, but I think it will be fine...
On another note, will be posting up pictures here, I misplaced my camera card I just hope I did not throw it away as most of the pictures were there, have a squad meeting tomorrow and will clean up the shop to look for the card K...

On a lighter note, the bit on the boots in water was a joke LMAO...

I will be shipping back your boots Monday If I can, Tuesday at the latest, Thanks for your help on the project... In other words there is no problem Crow can't solve lol...

Here is a picture of the boots in line, the inside was casted with stone and DID not touch the leather OK so thanks again!!!

BTW don't mind that shoulder bell on the table, I had to make that out of stone and had some left over from your boots

I have a pair of 39.5 european I can ship out.

I had to remove the insole and stretch them a little to fit my 9.5 US feet.

Those boot are pretty cool... Let me know when you get the 13/14US ready...

Thanks to Marcelo by the pics, the plastic bags with silicone in front boots was a try to cast the inside boots, the bag was for not make interior boots damages, we are not happy with the interior casts, so, the exterior cast soles will be the only usable for molds.

Nice! At last Chris! I think people want to see the moulds, people just love pics of moulds

I think our best bet (if they are willing) is to cast all the soles then send the most accurate pair along with the molds to Giovanni so he can use them to get everyones the same and best quality.

My last troop for this season will be April 9th. Then they'll be on the way.

No update on sending back the originals?
They were supposed to be returned a few weeks back....

good choice this are my boots, just rest the sIlver paint.....

I have a pair of 14s or 15s but the heel is a little worn. It could be built up with RTV or clay for molding. Let me know if you could use them!

Well, the cast was delayed because Marcelo received to late the silicone RTV used on the casts, but finally the molds are ready, Marcelo promised return the boots this week, I am calling him right now to see how it is the ship schedule.Meet me on Messenger.
