    Apr 4, 2010, 6:00 PM - Kid's Jango Fett #1

I started building a Jango Fett for my son. I had most of the pieces when I came across a completed fan made suit on EBay from a TDH member. With the relocation and a Boba Fett still to complete, I opted for the easy way out and bought it. Here are some pictures of the first fit up. It was made for a 10 year old. I have a tall 5 year old, so I have some fit up and attachment modifications to complete, but it was still pretty legit for $200. Also has a jetpack on that rocks, but you can't tell from these pictures.

I'll be posting the unfinished ONE'S END mini bucket and the unfinished kid's armor for sale in the Cargo Hold.

What do ya think? Probably a little backwards that I will be going as Boba and my kid will be going as Jango for Halloween this year, but then again, maybe insiders will find that funny.

    Excellent costume!

This is what I'm trying to achieve. Did the TDH member have a thread on the build by any chance?

I'll send him a note through E-Bay. Not sure what his TDH name is. He said he was sort of a casual TDHer.

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

It's nicely proportioned well finished bit of kit. I'll keep an eye out in the Cargo Hold for your spares, but I'm a new member, plus I've already got a lid.

    Cheers

Nice! This does look better than some adult suits. I'm doing the same for my 10 year old. We'll be appearing together at CV. But he's going as Open Seasons Jango.

I'm worried about the Florida heat though... I may forgo the vest and come up with a strap system for the armor... since its a Jango from a comic book I may be able to get away with it.

Clone....it's a legit concern. After 10 minuted in 87 degree weather my son was ready to drop. Of course he's 5, so a 10 year old will hold up better. Also, I think the weight of the JP got to hime

Okay fellow TDHers, the below is a quote from the guy that made the costume for all those interested in threads:

"I only took pictures of the finished product. what i did on the jango costume is nothing diffrent than what alot of people do on tdh i used wof templates for jetpacks, gauntlets, all the armour the helmet is a modified rubies so as the guns the ammo belt is from a thread from tdh, also the braided leather belt the only thing i did diffrent is i took measurments of my son and i made reductions to all the costume parts if you have or a tdh member have any qustions my e mail is lorenq50@yahoo.com"
