JangoUri v2.0 About Being Finished! (Heavy Pics)

Ok guys, the costume will be finished in about two weeks. The Jumpsuit is almost made and the new MoW gauntlets are about arriving to me. Now I just have to finish few things like boot armor and wheater the thigh armor and collar. I´m really happy to see all this together. I never thought I would ever made an armor like this and all is thanks to these forums

Yep, the whole armor is JD but the knee armor wich are from SFP and of course the helmet wich is from BKBT.

I would put it on me but i´ve to attach the stripes to can hold some of the armor parts to me, so i can´t wear it yet.

Well, the gauntlets arrived some days ago.

The Right Gauntlet Came broken , of course it was a shipping guys fault, not a MoW fault.



But well, nothing that cannot be repaired




The left gauntlet came with all ok:

Great weathering job! What did you use for the silver? Rub n Buff or paint? I plan on using R&B again when mine arrive. How did you fix your gauntlet? You did a great repair job!

Mine is a disaster to, you just can see the surface when i am going to make some pics to show it up.

Skalen Fehl It´s rub n buffed of course . To repair it I used glue and some kinda sandable putty. Then I sanded it.

That gauntlet looks beautiful !

I just got done appologizing about a faulty detail on TK's new gauntlets, then when I saw your broken under belly my chest sank !

I'm glad you were able to repair it as well as you did

Uri, it seems there's a problem with my choice of material on this new project as you well know....I'm making steps now to correct this but if you have problems with your set. let me appologize in advance and of course I'll fix the problem asap. It seems your pretty skilled though but the offer still stands my friend

By the way, what are TK´s gauntlets and what faulty detail you mean?

It seems TK's right gauntlet, the large flame intake plug, it's threaded stem came right off when he attached his braided intake hose !?

It may have been an air bubble or a small slit that effected the integrity of the stem when pressure was applied or just a bad mix ?????

Point is I'm not letting it happen on future gauntlets so I'll replace that stem with a nylon version which is the same nylon stems which come out of the left gauntlet flame unit.

Uri, If your gauntlets aren't showing any signs of weakness than I may chaulk TK's as a bad cast...

Better to be safe than sorry !

Very nice looking, I actually like your weathering better then the real deal. It looks like actual dirt and grime VS. paint. Very cool. Your costume is shaping up to be one of the best out there.
