JangoUri Costume FINISHED!!!!

Well, after 6 months of hard work I proudly present my first costume!

I just have to make some arrangements like the suit part under the Cod piece.

you allready mentioned the cod cloth thing, was about to tell you how you could do that, I had the same with my Boba coverall..

if I may make 2 slight tips...?

1. a little dirt, misting or washes...
2.hang the jet pack a little higher (have to do that on my own suit aswell)

just some tips, not to useful though, as your suit rocks!!

About the jet pack, yes, i know at the first time it was higher, but with the time it got down.
How did you arranged the codpiece-suit part? Im thinking about some butons, or a strap wich comes from codpiece to inside the suit

I would take it to a seamstress or any good friend or relative that knows anything about manipulating fabric. The crotch just need to be taken up a bit. It looks like the suit is too long for you in the torso. In which case it may be best to take it up at the waist, thus bringing the crotch up as if you were pulling up your pants. Does that make sense?

taking a the crotch section in isn't just as easy as it sounds.

I had the same problem and it drove me mad.

My mom's a proffesional at sewing etc.
we tried anything... nothing worked, it only got narrower and more tighter, the sleeve ends at my feet went up, but the cloth at the crotch didn't go up...

now I tried something myself... just came to me. It's not a very conventional way to do it, so anyone who's a pro at sewing will say NO!! that's not the way to do it... no maybe not, but nothing else works for this problem...

fold your jumpsuit inside out.

then cut against the seam that's allready there up to a comfy hight, do it in steps if you need... (mark with pins when wearing to where you want it to go)

this isn't very conventional because once it's done... it's done...
then sew the thing together A few times to make it stronger with a double stitching setting on your machine., now you have actually made the crotch higher.

downside... tends to fold up on the inside of your legs, but I don;t really care about that...

here's the line at witch to cut...

6 months awesome - I am at 2 years + 1 month on my ROTJ Boba and am not anywhere close to done - execellent suit and quick turnaround :thumbsup

I was thinking. If you know a seamstress, it seems to me that from one of the pictures of your back that your suit has enough room to make that jumpsuit a two piece deal giving you a shirt and pants. This might allow you to pull the "pants" up higher. Just my two cents. I like your Jango. Great Kazama pic too.

Yes Skalen, Maybe two pieces jumpsuit would be a good idea. I´ll have to think about that. Anyways, I´m about making a new jumpsuit. New updates and 2.0 costume version is coming. That means new helmet, new armor, and new fatter Uri :lol :thumbsup
