    Jun 15, 2006, 9:01 PM - Jango styling watch project #1

Well, the baby's been teething all last night and all day today. So I really didnt' have the opportunity to get any quality work done on holster assemblies today. Plus the leather is soaking right now.

So while the baby was sitting on my lap slobbering like crazy, I was able to steal a few minutes to play around with this project that I've been toying with.

I've always liked the look of cuff watches, and I purchased this watch last year but never liked the band. So viola, problem solved!

I tried to create a cuff that resembled the construction and coloring of Jango holsters, for obvious reasons.

I know it's one more "Fett" thing my wife will see and shake her head at...but I like it!

    Enjoy,

Seeker, sorry man I figured for sure you knew where to find these things. I got em from Ohio Travel Bag (their website: www.ohiotravelbag.com ), and they can be found under "general hardware". These particular ones are the solid brass smaller ones and I actually use them for the thigh straps on the holsters assemblies. I was under the impression they only sold wholesale so I gave them the business name, "Cruzer Productions", and they sold to me no probs. The only bad thing is there's a $75 minimum on all orders. I bought a bunch of these studs and a taller type for my assemblies so thankfully I made the minimum. I do need to order more though.

Thanks guys, when my wife got home from work she grabbed by arm and asked "what's that"...after she realized what it was- I just smiled.

I'm glad you're enjoying those little moments again Lorenzo, my niece also happens to be teething at the moment so I know all too well the horrors of baby drool.

Kidding aside thats truly one prodigious time piece bro, Im a big fan of the cuff watch look myself, never been keen on the watches bands, this little gem really shows your knack and flare for style.8)

    Kudos as always bro!

I got it from some ebay seller out of Hong Kong for like $20 shipped last Christmas, however, I saw someone else selling them right now for around $50! . It was from the same guy who sold the dog tags and rings.

It's not a high quality watch but it's cool anyways.
