Jango Stubby Scratch Build

Alright guys, began the paint process. I was able to get my hands on the Regal gloss blue by Krylon but went w/ a more turquoise blue for the trim which seemed very close.

Excuse my obsession w/ the tape : ). At ThirdEthree's advice I went w/ the Tamiya masking tape and man what a HUGE difference w/ the detail w/ respect to the lines!

Fettseven and I decided to go w/ a bright silver metallic airbrush on the back as well as trim areas to save the stress w/ rub n buff. This will allow for an easier time when applying the r and b.

Layed down the rest of the blue followed by the "turqoise/blue". Notice the detail I was able to get w/ the Tamiya masking tape...thanks again ThirdEthree!

Yeah I know. I just want to enjoy that "new car smell" for a few days before I dirty up the silver "unobtainium alloy":D

My wife is always wondering why I work so hard on the paint job and then cover it up with weathering and dirt......But she does agree that it looks more "real" once it is weathered.
