Use to be that we didn't mention makers directly for discretionary reasons. But at the same time, some makers like me, post "run" threads...so it doesn't make sense at times.

So for the sake of tradition and not wanting to make anyone mad, PM me with your list and I'll make some recommendations via PM.(y)

There is also the fact there may be different makers that offer similar products, and it comes down to a matter of personal preference, availability, location, etc.

Yup, part of the process of doing this costume is looking at others and seeing who made their parts and doing a comparison between parts and the real thing. Most people tend to list who made their parts in their Jango progress/completion threads. Then you can PM that person and ask them about a particular part. ;)

Great tips guys, thanks.

I take you point about listing too much in one post Foxbatkllr.
Not planning on buying everything straight away (finances will never allow it), just thought I'd get a realistic budget together based on other peoples experiences.

Very good points guys. Also, I have no clue who makes knee armour. :D

Shirley you jest... and I'm well aware that your name isn't Shirley. ;)

I also find that the going trend is to once again ignore the search function. Both using the search function and reading others build threads pointed me in the right direction. I then knew which members to contact for different items. :)
