Did some weathering and finish work on the Kamino pack today....not enough time to take pics.

I should be able to post some progress pics tomorrow, and I am about ready to mount the clips and strap this thing to my back.

    So stay tuned.......

    Re: Jango Jetpacks

Those colors have lost a lot of "pop" now that the weathering is going on..lol

I hope to have some time to work on them on my days off this week, and possibly finish them up. I need to finish the greeblies for the Kamino pack and finish the rocket up. The Arena pack needs its final assembly and weathering. So if I can get about 1-2 hrs on Thursday and Friday I should be able to knock these out.

I think I may try to put all of the links that I have found and used in this thread too, so that future Jango's can find them easier. I know how irratating searching can be at times.

I also don't think I ever listed my paints in a plain and easy to see place.

    Kamino paint
    Rustoleum Royal Blue
    Rustoleum White 2X
    Rustoleum Burgandy
    Valspar Equipment Yellow 5339-08
    Krylon Flat black
    Krylon clear satin finish
    craft paints for weathering
Krylon metallic aluminum for the rocket

    Arena pack
    Rustoleum accents Midnight Blue
    Rustoleum 2X Slate Blue
    craft paints for weathering

CA glue for all assembly and earth magnets to hold the rocket in place.

    Nice!

Honestly, I don't think I will ever do a classic jetpack only because people confuse me with Boba Fett enough as it is. Arena jetpack ftw

    Re: Jango Jetpacks

I am definitely more fond of the arena pack. I will be getting the arena pack ready to troop hopefully tomorrow. I have a Hospital visit coming up next week so I will have to decide which one to troop. I will probably do the Kamino just because I have never trooped it before. Eventually when I get my Boba Fett finished up I will most likely repaint the Kamino pack to Boba colors.

    Re: Jango Jetpacks

Just got a new tote for Jango. I think it will probably greatly affect which JP I troop with the most. The arena pack will fit in it, the Kamino pack won't. That will mean I will have to carry it, and that gets old.

    Here is the new carrier......

King Kong Mobile All-Purpose Job Box - 1840110 | Tractor Supply Company

It is nice to have everything fit, including the helmet and jet pack.

    Re: Jango Jetpacks

Thanks Seeker, I liked trooping it for a change of pace. I will probably continue to troop both for a while depending on my mood. I was wondering if I would bump into more things since this one is wider than the arena pack but I didn't notice any difference.

And the SEEKER harness worked and felt great.

We got a great reaction from the kids at the hospital, it was a good troop.
