Jango Grappeling Dart

Mr Stevens

New Hunter
I'm awaiting arrival of the Jango at the moment. While waiting I'm looking for some parts I wish to add.
One of the things I need is the blades that are supposed to be on the right gauntlets grappeling dart.
Anyone have any blueprints or measurements for these blades?

I found this image in another post, and the gauntlet on the left side has the grappeling dart with the blades.

Chucko if I'm not mistaken the link you gave Mr.Stevens was for the Kamino Saber Dart.He wanted the grapling dart on the right Gauntlet of Jango.Mr. Stevens I found some close up pictures of the dart. And I also have a 1-1 scale of a Kamoino dart.I made my own side grapling dart.I'll find the pictures and attach them.Hope this helps,Jeff

Thanks a lot. That helps quite a bit.

You wouldn't happen to have the measurments for the fins as well?
That would help me a whole lot.

If so I just took another picture of the blade or "fins".The overall length of the one I made is 1 7/8".The third picture I showed you from the last post was from Zoltan Tyrell's finished Jango pictures.Again hope this helps.Jeff

Yes, that was very helpful.
Now I need just one more measurment. How think are the blades (fins)?
Are they 1 mm, 2 mm or 1,5 mm?

I don't have the measurements of mm but I used my tape measure. It is just a smudge over 1/16"but NOT 1/8"I just used plexiglass from HOME DEPOT.You can buy a 12"x12" for around $5.00.I made a few of these and sold them with my old Jango gauntlets I sold about a year ago.The only difference was I put a curve in the back of the fin like the original. And anyone else here on the dented helmet please correct me if I'm wrong but if I'm not mistaken Jango only had 1 fin on his dart.HTH,Jeff

I've got the blades now. This is what they look like:

Anyone have any suggestions on how to attach them to a resin dart?

The way that I have seen it done is to put 3 slots around the dart shaft one for each blade. Then use the JB weld to secure them.

If you check out at some of the reference pics with the broken blade you can see the slot.
