Yeah, it would have the backing... the one I made for myself has a thick backing (a little too thick, but breaks in nice)... these ones will be a tad bit thinner of a backing for better comfort...

I might go for one of these.................I was thinking of trying to construct this item myself but I am always looking for a way to save time.

Here are some pictures of mine... I also wanted to try a new method of using uncolored bolo and dyeing it dark brown.

If you want to have one done, PM me, it is your choice of dark brown bolo or undyed bolo with me dyeing it dark brown.

Note: Ignore the chicago screws... they were added for my cod piece and will not be on the final girth belts.

Tony are this pictures of the "pre-colored" or the "post-colored" bolo?

These pictures are of my current girth belt... they are pre-colored bolo... I sanded and weathered a tiny bit, that was all.

Here is the back closure... the backing leather for mine was too thick to wrap so I just cut some strips for the outside and drilled through the whole thing... The ones I will be making will wrap at the end since I am using thinner more pliable leather.

I wear mine around my waist... maybe an inch or two higher... so around your waist and lower belly... so I would need the measurement of the widest part of the area from your navel to waist.

Tony is the backing leather or vinyl? I need backing for my girth belt but am unsure what material to use. Can I buy this at Joannes Fabric? Thanks for the help.

The backing is leather... I would assume you could use vinyl, but for sturdiness and longevity of trooping I would go with leather... Mine that I wear ATM, was backed with a scrap piece of leather the local leather store had and is quite thick (probably 10+ oz weight) where-as the ones I am making on this run will have a thinner backing, as mine is just TOO thick.

Hey Leo, yeah it's 6mm but it is dark brown.

Got it in the mail yesterday. So no need in the number. The belt looks great and I have no complaints. I did make a newb error though. I think I gave you too small of a size. I will have about an inch and a half gap in the back when I tie it up. I don't think this in anyway your doing it is the measurement I gave you.

Again this thing LOOKS and FEELS absolutely GREAT and I would recommend it to anyone in need of a girth belt.

Production time took longer than expected last time, but that will be sped up for future runs

As for shipping to Germany, I believe the total would be $195 USD shipped internationally.

finally got the girth belt in TLobe and it's amazing. Do you guys have any tricks on how to keep the ammo pouch from sliding up and down the girth belt? I was thinking about maybe putting some string between the ammo pouches and wrapping it around the girth belt. any other ideas?

As for how to keep it centered on the girth belt, some guys will use chicago screws and put them through the ammo belt and the girth belt to hold it in place.

I should be doing a new run of these very soon, I will let you all know when that is, probably in a few weeks
