Jango gauntlets

I had a few folks asking about the Jango gauntlets I made for theme-park client, so I figured this was the appropriate place to post some pics. Sorry the pics aren't that great, but you get the idea.

These are nowhere near what Fettpride has accomplished- those gauntlets are truely art! Mine are more an exercise in practicality; I had less than 6 weeks to create a full head-to-toe Jango (and other costumes at the same time), so I was reasonably happy with what I was able to do.

The part I was the proudest of was that I was able to obtain a quanitity of silver-color plastic to do these and the rest of the Jango armor. Therefore, the only painting I had to do was weather them with flat-black and repeated wearings didn't rub off the color!

Any chance you'd consider doing a run of these one day?

I've still got the molds- but they'd have to be in regular white styrene; I can't get that silver plastic any more.

It's not a big job to paint them up after all. I'm sure you'll get more interest. there's just never enough Jango gauntlets to go around!

Mark, you make great products. And wow, 6 weeks? That must have been quite the challenge! (And the paycheck!)

I can do the Jango gauntlets for $25 each ($50 for a pair)- Right now I can't offer anything but the shells as my molds for the resin parts need to be re-done. What would be included is just the vacuformed parts you see in those pictures.

Shipping would be extra (usually $5 in the US)

I'm in the same boat I'm afraid. I could only really justify buying a full set of bits.

pm sent....are the resin parts the dart and the other "greebs?" not really sure what constitutes the resin parts not included....i was considering getting aluminum darts and such down the road...
