Jango fett sniper rifle?

Hi im new here and I was just wondering if anybody has considered making Jango's sniper rifle from starwars bounty hunter

p.s i am currently working on a jango bucket, based off a dp95 due to budget and was wondering whats the best way to strip the old paintjob and apply the weathering seen on jango's helmet?

Sand it, until smoother than smmmoooooth.
Use rub n buff to get the silver metal look, etc.

Don't think I've seen anybody do that rifle. Always good to add another blaster to the community, though.
