Hi guys,
I have been looking at a lot of methods for attaching the rangefinder and it seems that a lot of people put on screw in the front and another in the stub of the rear, but having looked over original ref, it seems that both screws come in through the front; one straight in and one in the corner of the front of the stalk, angled back into the rear of the rangefinder. The photos I have aren't clear enough to tell exactly what kind of screws were used but I am assuming they were brass phillips heads with a slight oval on the top and countersunk on the bottom. All I could find at Home depot were #4 - 3/4" long... I had to sand down most of the screw head to make them fit, but I think it looks ok.. not great but ok. Since I am not a Jango expert, I wanted to check in with those who are to see what you are using and if anyone has found the right screws to use or can recommend a screw size. Thanks!!!
