Jango Fett Leather parts dimension

hello, folks:) i am in the process of making the leather parts of Jango by myself and would need some advice... As i am only 5'7'', so i would go with the screen accurate size. i used Wizardofflight's tempalte and scale down using the Girth belt size 5'' ( in width ) to get all the other relevant numbers for the bolo belt, the ammo pouch and belt. I have to say the template is so useful :) And i am going to use Cruzer's tourial to make those. Is this method workable?? My second question is if i could find a holster template somewhere with the size, and maybe i can use the same method to get the correct size for me. Thanks in advance for any of your input:)

Here is the template i use, really useful :)

I did a search function after putting on this thread and found some info on the PVC pipe made D-ring holder by Cruzer who use a 1'' PVC pipe cut in half, so i guess the stripes at the cod area could be just a little bit less than 1''... looking at the leg stripes, those could be 1/2''... For the blaster holder, i will use a pair of MRs, i guess i have to test the size when i have those... Plz correct me if i am wrong, and appreciate if someone could privide me with the accurate size of the width of stripes and the blaster holder. thanks...

It's actually 19 rows, but hey who's counting. ;)

The ammo belt pouches are about 2" wide by 3.5" tall, maybe ever so slightly larger.

thanks, my friend, i'll take the 21 rows :) and using slightly large than 2'' x 3.5'' pouch propotionally... what about the belt, i think in this case, it should also be 2'' or slightly large. right :) thanks for your input !! really appreciate your help :)

I am torn between making the leather parts myself(no experience working with leather) or buying them premade( exorbitant cost) But...templates or even measurements seem impossible to find(with the exception of the ammo pouches).... i know the guys on here who make them want to make money but it would be nice to get a hold of some just for those of us who may not be able to stretch to $250+ for a set of holsters etc.

One thing is that if you want to make them out of leather yourself, you will find that the cost of the raw materials is fairly high. The guys on the forum really aren't charging that much for thier time and labor. I have started messing around with leather a little just to see what I can do. I am finding the prices from Seeker and Cruzer to be quite reasonable.

I just had to save my pennies and wait for a good deal when I purchased my stuff.

I will probably end up purchasing them from Cruzer or Seeker(when i can convince the wife!) until then my plan was to make my own...either with scrap leather or even something synthetic..

hehe, that is what i did eventually :) Got a Seeker belt and the Cruzer holster, simply cannot match what they did... But i would still do the bolo belt myself, all the materials are available to me now :)
