Hi

I'm from Spain, and I have a Jango's coldcast helmet, but I need the color code for Tamiya Sprays.

Light blue color will be the TS-44??

Dark blue color will be the AS-8??

The color chart is from Darth Steven:

Hmm...It looks about right to me, but Im not an expert on the shades of paint. It appears accurate to me though just from what I see

I will put in a note for you...I was searching for the closest color to the Arena Jet Pack and I looked at the tamiya paints online, and kept seeing that the grey colors were closer than the blue. I took my visual dictionary one day to the hobby store, and saw that the colors I was looking for were totally off. Ends up that I found my color, but, just know that the colors you see online may not be exactly what it looks like when you get it in the mail...

It's true, but I took two pictures, one promotional and the other from Paris (both with neutral light, no flash), and the colours are very very accurate.

I need to see in person, but I think are the good colours

He's not saying the Darth Steven color chart is wrong. He's saying that those Tamiya paints will not look like that when you actually spray them. You need to test them out first/see them in person.

I think that the colours are correct, I (We) just need to see them in natural light and sprayed on a white paper ;) But I think that the 2 Tamiya are really nice colours (y)

Darth Steven used RAL color cards. So if you want to be sure of the color you have to buy a spray with a RAL number.

Those Tamiya colors are not RAL.

True but, for example, I can't find any RAL Spray so I need to ask for a custom colour and in spray, so it's 20€ (30$) for colour, and the tamiya sprays are only 5€ to 7€ (7,5$ - 10$), If I can save some € and match the colour, I prefer that. :D

Just my opinion (y)

The only way to really know is to test the colours. When they dry, they could be a completely different colour than what is advertised on the cap.

I'm from Spain and now the Star Wars Exhibition is here. Yesterday I saw the real (stunt) Jango Fett helmet, and the color are the same that mine .

I only need the weather for the helmet and assembly the stalk and the visor (I don't have the visor yet). It's probably the last cold cast helmet from Australia (I'm not sure).

More pics are coming ;)
