Jango, completed at last!

So, I have technically been working on this Jango for 6 years and all my hard work has finally paid off. I debuted this at SDCC this year. I actually wore it for the first time ever at the con...not even a test fit previously. Thanks to all those who have helped me over the years! Here's a breakdown of the parts.

Helmet - Fettpride Screencast...scratch and dent sale so it's RnB. Asok aluminum RF stalk.
Chest armor, Shoulders, Thigh Armor, Foot armor - BKBT gelcoat w/ RnB
Knees - BKBT/Cruzer CC (the brand new ones) with aluminum Dark-Side darts
Shins - Cruzer CC
Backplate - Cruzer gelcoat w/ RnB
Jetpack - MOW w/ Serenity beacon and stabilizer
Flight Suit - made by my wife with very accurate material from LA fashion district.
Vest - Leather, made by Ladysewforus
Gauntlets - Fettpride Cold Cast with Dark-Side aluminum parts
Ammo belt - Me
Girth Belt - Cruzer's Bolo, assembled by me
Holsters - Cruzer, dyed by me
Gloves - Nordstrom Rack
Blasters - MR
Shoes - GBX, accurate sole

Special, special, uber thanks goes out to Cruzer for bailing me out at the last minute and going above and beyond to provide me with holsters, shins and knees in time for comic-con!

Thanks for all the compliments guys!!!

@LSFU - Shiruba of Seattle

@SEEKER - I don't think anyone's flightsuit is as purple as yours! :p J/K I used to be anti-purple Jango, but my opinion has changed in the last few years after seeing it at FIDM.

@CaptJono - The RnB and CC match very well in person. You can't really tell the difference without studying them very closely. There are two minor differences. The RnB is a little more reflective than the CC and the RnB is not as consistent of a finish as the CC, but some of that has to do with me and not the actual RnB. Otherwise, it's pretty indistinguishable as long as you use the Mother's aluminum polish on the CC. CC that's only been steel wooled does not match that well.

More about the flightsuit...it's brushed linen and here are a couple of pics taken with two different cameras showing the color different from above. The first pic was taken by Craig "Jango 5204" and the second was taken by Liz Hyde of OCSWS/RL.

Thanks!

Since I'm in the repairs/alterations/upgrades stage, anyone have any tips on removing the orange from the barrel of the MR's? I think I remember hearing that it was a plug you could remove if you took them apart. I know others have painted the barrels. I don't like the bright orange coming from the barrels in my pics.

Yeah I took those plugs out of mine as well. There is a small allen screw on the bottom of the barrell. Unscrew that and you should be able to unscrew the tip off. The brass tube is actually what you are unscrewing from the back of the gun. The whole brass tube and tip will come off. Now you can slide the tip back down the tube a little to reveal the flared brass piece that you need to unscrew. You have to push the plugs out from the inside out. They have a rubber o-ring that holds them in place. I hope that helps.

I just took mine apart again to make sure I was relaying it correctly. That is how I did it and it is pretty easy to do. Nice Jango by the way.
