Jango Blaster Build

So I'd thought I'd post up my Jango Blaster build.

I was finally able to upgrade from the Rubies toys to some great resin blasters. Thanks Cruzer!.

I used a generic Walmart Chrome rattle can paint and for you war gaming geeks out there some Citadel chainmail paint for the handles. I used Testors Gold paint for all the accents.

Let me know what you all think. Any input would be great cause I still have blaster #2 to to this weekend.

Here is a Comparison of the Toys and the Resin ones...the Resin on top toy on the bottom:

Looks good... Did you have any trouble with the chrome going on smoothly? Hard to tell from the pics. I haven't tried chrome paint for long time, back in the day though, it used to pock mark like crazy. If its as smooth as it looks, I might give it another shot.

There was a little pock-marking on the top and underside of the barrel but I chalk that up to my error...My first coat went on too thick; I was excited and sprayed to close to the blaster. I was able to add some very lite misting layers that helped to even out the pock-marking but not all of it...the next blaster will have none!

Yep..thats the one...if you don't need it soon I have 2 cans of it. I give one to Rob the next time I see him so you don't have to spend the money.

It's only a buck or two... No biggie... Besides, I won't have new blasters until tax time. Just wanted to make a note of the paint brand. Thanks though. (y)

that looks awsome mate. was thinking of going with the rubies but this looks so much better. if i can ask where did you get the resin kit?
