Jango armor sets

Oh sorry, here ya go.

yes, I would imagine they would be a pain, since sintra is hard also. they look better than anything I've done.

a quick question- how did you make the block on the side of the knees which holds the darts? I was never able to do that.

OK Jeff and I were having a conversation on another forum about his armor. Since I am now in the 5601st I am worried about what modifications I do and do not want to do. Do you think this armor would be acceptable as 501st Jango armor? I personally think it would and it is in fact better than the sintra armor I currently have which was in fact accepted. The only thing I can notice to not be as "accurate" is the cod plate. Please Seeker, Cruzer and whoever else step in and give me some advice PLEASE!

I really want to go with this aromor as it is in fact real metal and can easily be clear coated to retain its sheen.

Well if you look at the screen used displays, the armor really is not that shiney. It looks to just have a brushed aluminum sheen.

Personally, I think the cod looks pretty close.but thats just me.

I gotta say for the record, that I do not take credit for the basic designs, just the craftsmanship.I base it on WOF templates for shape and accuracy level, but I tweak it in certain areas to make it different from the templates though.
With this kind of armor, it really helps to have a reference ,as nothing I do is sculpted. It all starts as flat metal, and Lots of elbow grease.lolol
And before anyone says anything, I have already contacted WOF about this.(Thanks again bro)

You know now that I am looking at it with that refference pic it does look so much better LOL Jeff I think your craftsmanship is killer which is exactly why I contacted you in the ifrst place! It would make me very proud to strut around in your armor hence the questioning! I proabbaly should have asked you first about making a post before I did it but I guess thats too late. As the dirty look I was refferring to the fact that you can not clear coat many of the different silver paints out there due to the fact they lose their pigment afterwards.

-Chris

Well you are in luck.I do not use any silver except the wood block on the knees. All the rest is bare metal.I just spray it with flat black, and sand it till little remnants of the black remain.
Thanks for the compliments. They are always appreciated, and I do not blame you at all for checking around.
There are a lot of options available.I am just happy to be one of em.lol
With me it is not about money, although that helps, but it is more about being a lover of star wars and putting a smile on peoples faces.I am happy to be considered.

this is my first post here (yaay). i am also interested in this armor, i would appreciate a pm. VERY nice looking armor. i really like the realism of it being actual metal.

this may be a dumb question, but how much does this armor run?

BTW Wicked, if you keep this up i'd say you could easily become one of the greats around here. great work, i think you may have convinced me to finally start on a jango project...(as soon as money allows :S)
