Interested in building Jango Fett

BUNKERTOR100

New Hunter
Hi everyone,

Its Jhon aka TEMPLAR/TI-7091. Many might know me as the TIE pilot with all the "Chicks Dig Armor" photos. LOL. To let you know about myself, I just retired from the US Air Force after serving 26 years of active duty and retired as Master Sergeant (E-7). I am 44 yrs old and currently living in Miami Beach, FL which is my hometown. Ive been with the 501st Legion for about 7 years now. I started my duty with Southern California Garrison back in Santa Monica, CA. Then I moved to New Orleans, LA where I was attached with Star Garrison. Soon afterwards, my New Orleans and Louisiana became became Bast Alpha Garrison. Then six months ago, I moved back home to Miami Beach where I got transferred to Florida Garrison. I am also a member of the Jolly Roger Squadron and the Imperial Officer Corps since Im a TIE pilot and Imperial Officer.

For the past few years, Ive been thinking of building a Jango Fett. Honestly, I love Boba Fett but Jango Fett is the character I would love to protray. Ive actually met Temuera Morrison back at CIV, and we talked for awhile since I had a striking resmeblance to him (when I was like 20 lbs lighter). BTW Im currently losing the weight, so I should be there by Christmas. ;)

Well, I am committed on working on Jango Fett. I want to do it the "right way" and seek guidance and advice from other Jango Fetts here on TDH. Ive been doing a little research and still need to know more on "whose is the best" on certain parts and what not. I know the cost will be high but I committed.

So, where should I start? I guess with the helmet first?

I would recommend Asok for the helmet if you are the right size. I am 5-10 190 and it works great for me. I have done three of them.

If you are screen accurate size then Cruzer, Seeker, and such are good choices for parts. I am lucky that those parts fit me. My WIP threads have a bunch of info and pics, also I throw some links in my jet pack WIP thread. Saint_nasty has some good info in his helmet and jet pack threads.

I am in the Star Garrison in the DFW area btw..............and welcome to the world of Jango Fett.

The same stuff I use should fit you well then. I have a average build with a chest bigger than my waist. I would like to drop back down to 175 but at 39 years old it is tougher to keep the weight down than it was in the past.

If you look at my pics in armor you should get a good idea how Cruzer armor, Asok helmet, MOW jet pack and then two different BFUK jet packs, and Seeker leather TL00be leather and such looks on your frame.....

Feel free to hit me up with any specific questions you may have.

His stuff is good and top quality. I have seen it in person and it looks great. The only negative I would be able to throw out about Bobamaker is that the shipping from the UK can tack on some added expense. I would not however say that it isn't worth the cost. I would not hesitate to buy from him.

I also believe that his armor is screen accurate size.

Ive been told that about the "shipping" cost. :(

I would like to buy stuff piece by piece so I dont break my bank account. Again, there is no rush since I dont plan on debuting Jango Fett till SDCC 2013. Ive decided to buy the helmet 1st and see Cruzer and Bobamaker...WOW!

Im back. Sorry, Ive been busy with school and was looking for job. Im finally going to start working soon, and Im back on track with being Jango Fett. How do I get in contact with ASOK?

This may be your lucky day as I am in possesion of a brand new LSFU Jango Vest that is a little too small for my 205 lb. body. Let me know if you are interested and I can save you a 8-12 month wait.

I will have to measure it when i get home tonight. I would say it could fit anyone 5'5"- 5'11" as long as they were under 200 lbs. But I will measure it and post it up here in case the OP is interested. Otherwise, I will probably take it to the Cargo hold. I got it in a package deal from AdmFrancis when I bought his Jango MOW gauntlets back in October. It hasn't even had any armor placed on it yet that I can tell and the quality is amazing. I can see why LSFU has such a long line of people waiting.
