Hey guys, Trying to expand my talents to others. Was trying to see if anyone would be interested in me doing a Jango Girth Run. I did mine and had fun with it. I was wanting to make more and sell them, but don't want to spend the money for all the materials if no one is interested. Here are a few shots. I'll probably be going with the Natural leather hyde and dying it to the exact colors. Here a few pics of my recently finished belt. I can make them to size and can also add snaps that will attach to your vest giving you a vest that will never come untucked from your costume. They'll be in the price range of $150-$185 shipped. It might be a little more than that quota, but will depend on how many people sign up. I'll have to check out the materials being used and go from there.









If anyone is interested, Post here and If I can get 10 people or so, will start a run. Just post your name, size, and if you would like snaps or not. When measuring, measure wearing jeans and measure to the nearest 1/2" PM me for details or quesitons.

I don't need the snaps on mine either for locking down the vest. My jeans size is 33" but the girth seems to ride a little higher than the hips. Not sure how tight it's supposed to be so hopefully that will be enough info to make it.

And by the way, The belts will be accurate to screen used belt. the 4ply 1/4" Bolo with 19 strands. Just thought I'd post that up cause I have gotten a few PM's bout it.

Just a little bit of an update. I went ahead and ordered the bolo for Rupidupe and TB750's belts. The bolo should be here shortly. I'll get these kicked out. I'm going to work on Rupidupe's belt first cause of his event. But will get TB750's belt knocked out fairly quickly too. Just wanted to keep yall updated.

Not a problem. There's really no rush on my belt as my Jango is still a work in progress. I'm just glad I had the opportunity to pick up this piece of the outfit. If there's anyone who needs their belt before me please don't hesitate to give them priority.

Just a little update. The bolo has shipped out and will be here hopefully by the end of next week at the latest. Will get the belts started ASAP.

Just an update. Going to pick up the Leather backing tomorrow, Monday, and will start the belts. The leather Bolo is on its way, and should be here any day. I got the measurements ready, and all the packing supplise. We are on schedule. Hopefully I'll get all these done fairly quickly and will get them out in the next few weeks.

Here is what I've been up to today...got all the Belts cut and ready for the cord to be placed on them. Here a couple of pics I took for now. Will hopefully get a few spools of bolo in later this week, and get a couple of belts knocked out. I went ahead and ordered more bolo from the company. Hope to get that soon as well.





Also, I picked up some dye from the leather shop and got some great colors.I got a redish brown and looks spot on to the screen used belts. We even tested it out on the leather, and I can't wait to see the end results. I'l keep yall updated. Got to head on into work...

You need to start thinking about outsourcing to a third world country. For pennies on the dollar you can get an assembly line going. I've been trying to sell this idea to Cruzer for my own selfish reasons of getting my items faster. LOL! China would make a great product for you as long as none of us mind a little lead in our belt.

You can buy the materials and make one (that is what I did) with Cruzers tutorial... I think Cruzer was checking with the supplier of the bolo to see if he could get more, if not, there are other options for the bolo albeit some are not AS accurate as Cruzers supplier... I think there is a place called 'Beads Findings and Things' that sells 6mm bolo for a decent price http://bfnt.co.uk

das es true it is posted above (recasting)... As for making a girth belt, try BfnT and if they are sold out I would look on the internet for places that sell (dyed or undyed) 6mm bolo... then you need a piece of leather the length of your waist and about 5-5 1/2 inches tall and about 20+ yards of bolo, then you use leather cement and glue each strip and hold it down for a couple of minutes then do the next strip. Once those are done, put a piece of leather wrap on the end and drill some holes in each end and lace that bad boy up
