im new here!!!

Hi everyone, im new here, and i just found this website while trying to find something to help me on my upcoming project. ive seen some of your coustumes, an i just !!! im not even 11 yet, so try not to use swears, even blocked out ones when you see me on the boards. the point of this is, where can i find a good helmet that i can paint and put together? i checked on ebay, and they dont have anything! can someone help me?

Jango Fett 2 piece

That's a good base helmet to get you started and not too much $$$

Couldnt find one, but maybe i can ask my friend if i can have it from the coustume that he never wore. Is the helmet larger depending on the coustume size? if not from him, maybe i can find it at amazon.com.

Welcome to The Dented Helmet (TDH), my son is also 11 here on the boards. Amazon or Ebay are the easiest searches, try looking up the Jango costume. The description should say if it comes with the 2-piece helmet. Good luck.

Hey welcome to TDH! Are you familiar with how to paint the helmet?

kind of, ive read lots o info on it, but i could use some pointers.

Oh! and mandalorfett, whats your sons username? maybe i can look him up!

one more thing....if i cant find a rubies 2 piece helmet, where can i get a helmet i can repaint for a maximum of $100? if you can help me, i will be grateful

and does anyone know where i could buy some jango armor? if you do, pm me or post it on this thread.

Again, ya got multiple options regarding sources from where you can purchase armor from. I'll give ya this thread because I bought armor from the feller and was VERY pleased with the quality and communication:

But please remember ... this is only 1 source of many. You should do a search just to see what your options are and what you like the best. If ya start rushin' thorugh this project, take my word for it ... it's gonna backfire.

Hello, welcome to TDH. If you're looking for a helmet under $100 including paint, you may want to get a Deluxe Rubies Jango Fett. The visor isn't complete, but you can purchase one from a few members here on the board or on ebay.

About your age, you're almost 11 years old and buying a costume now will be something to outgrow in the future!! The helmet might be a good spot to start in, but if you're looking for armour, all of that stuff would need to be sized up later

You CAN make your own Jango Fett armour for very cheap, here's a link to teach you how to do it

I use the templates and laser cut the armour out of Sintra, but that may be out of your price range, but you can use the templates shown above to make them yourself!!
