I'm actually working on a mold of my scratchbuilt westars right now! I'm gonna start a thread within the next week. Hopefully everything works out so I can offer some quality westars!

By te way, these are made out of machined aluminum and I've put about 4 hours into each handle.

Looks like a great start. Round out a lot of the edges on the handle and soften them on the trigger, and you'll be headed in the right direction. Keep up the good work and keep those progress pics coming! We love progress pics around here. For me it's almost like being right there next to you every step of the way through the building process

Here's a ref. pic where you can see how the edges look on an MR handle.

Thanks a lot, I needed that pic because I had thought that I had smoothed the edges a little too much, got a little more to do, and I was looking at some trigger pics and I think that I should make the trigger guard hole wider.
I didn't use any screws either, just epoxy on the trigger, it won't be coming out anytime soon
