This is an odd question but:
I have aquired one of Asok's very nice Cold Cast Jango helmet's based on his new molds and am thrilled to pieces.. But.. I have a question.
I am a pretty small guy. 5' 9" 180 lbs or so (yes I'm a little overweight currently) and I would not have thought that I have that big a head, however when I put my lovely helmet on my head, it smooshes my nose a bit.
Now granted: there is no padding yet in the helmet and the visor area has not been cut out and replaced with a real visor yet but i would not imagine that those modifications will affect this that much.
It's not particularly painful or anything but I imagine for trooping it would grow to be awkward if not abrasive?
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Othere than that detail, the helmet looks to fit well. It is close quarters inside but I don't look like a bobble head with it on. How much room should I expect to have in this thing?
Are other helmets all that different in the front to back dimension? Have I missed something?
Thoughts and comments appreciated. :-)
