Helmet Gasket

Hey guys. I've been workin on a few things...not just the girth belts. I'm working on a Helmet Gasket, or the Helmet "Skirt." I have been researching for templates, but have had no luck, so, I have come up with my own. This is a really rough copy of what I'm working on. Had to cut a whole "section" out to make it close right. So, that will have to be fixed. I just glued the elastic cord cause I knew it was going to need work. I hate sewing so that would have been horrible to sew all the parts and realize that it needed modding. But anyway, here is what I got so far. I'll work on it tomorrow at some point and will try to update it. I'm off work tomorrow so that makes me jump for joy!!! (y)(y)

Thanks. I revised the template today and will do another prototype. Hopefully, the kinks will be knocked out of it and It will look better. I'll keep yall updated. :D

Okay...I think I got the final copy. Got all the kinks worked out of it. Here is the final thing before the sticking. I'll have to add the accurate stitch pattern to it but will do that later. What do yall think...

We gonna see a run of these some point like your girth belt?

Maybe. I was thinking about it. And as far as the blue goes, Not quite sure the exact color, but, looks close to me. I've had this stuff for years and really never used it so I thought it was good idea to put it to good use. I'll probably do a few more to get the little things I want out like the gaps in between the parts. Im OCD when it comes to stuff like this so, its something I'd like to fix before I start runs and stuff.
