New Hunter
Hey guys, I am looking for some good reference pictures for a Jango gun holster. I am working one up from scratch and I want to be sure I get it right. It seems that most of them I have seen here vary a little from one to another.

Dohhh, I had no idea those were there. I really haven't been able to spend the time ive needed navigating around the site and seeing what all is here. Thank you for your help. Lots of good stuff in there and it more then answers most of my questions.

Yeah, wow. I dont know if i'm glad I found them or disappointed that I now know how inaccurate all the little parts of mine are haha. Well its a good tool to have and I was able to finish my holsters last night because of them. pics coming soon.

I cant seem to find info on how people are building the double d ring piece that the leather goes through, that hangs over the cod. I am thing about just making one out of aluminum but Im not sure where to start on measurements an what not.

Take some PVC pipe and cut with 45 degree cuts on the ends. Next cut it in half so that you are left with just a half circle if that makes sense. Mount that to a piece of plastic. Hope that helps.

Thanks, yeah I had considered that. But PVC is too thick. I considered some SCH 40 pipe as the wall thickness is thinner. But then I would still have a glued joint that holds a decent amount of pressure from the holsters. I suppose the leather from the holster could be attached to the backing plate with chicago screws though to alleviate that.

Was really more curious though about measurements. Do we have a reference guide around here for that stuff? Maybe some basic blue prints? Thank you again for your help.
