I'm still good to go on this JD.

I get paid on the 12th and will begin the transfer to my Paypal that night. You'll have the full payment from me before the deadline.

Thanks again for offering these, you've certainly made my Christmas, though my wife could find other things to spend the funds on.

so i got the samples in today and the grenada looks a bit too red to me in person. it's on cord so its hard to gauge how it will take and look on braided bolo. I think it will look less red as it wears on the belt as braided material, but i still think the burgundy color in it is a good match. They sent me some other colors as well so I'll post them in the am and you all can tell me what you think. I'll take them outside in natural light and try and show them as close to real as possible. working now.

Although I'm not in on this run, my advice is to go lighter on the red rather than heavier.

your advise is always welcome!...my intention is to get these super close to accurate in color no matter what ive got to do. The sales guy says they will do the best they can to get it as close as possible to the color. He sent me an antiqued brown braided bolo sample that looks really close too...I'll post the options in the am...

so here is the samples they sent me....i tried to teak them a bit in photshop to make them represent the color they are as close a spoccible. I know monitors are not the same and display colors a bit different at times, but they look very close on my monitor so i can do is hopr they are truly represented on yours...

turkey red (a bit light i think)

    granada

in person I'm thinking on the cord it appears too burgundy, but again, not sure what would happen on a braided piece as it has it's natural highs and lows and varied sides of the leather that will dye a bit different. It also seems like the original is much darker in natural light and seems to fit this color.

cordora red (which i think is way too red)

antiqued brown (which i think i really like.)

This isnt the braided bolo we would be getting, wrong size and ply, just sent to show a color he suggested a sbeing close to the picture i sent.

here is an adjusted photo for comparison. I tweaked this in photoshop to get the pouches to more accuratly represent the true color, thus fixing the braided bolo as well so you could make your comments based on natural lighting the best possible way. given this photo the granada still looks to be the best choice. I'm sure it will fluctuate a bit once the bolo is weathered a bit as well.

I'll just state that I'm simply going to trust your judgement JD. I don't have anything physical to base any comparissons from, so my gut instinct tells me to trust you.

i was considering installing a three snap system in my girth belt that would go on the inside of the belt to allow the cod to be snapped onto the back of it. the snaps would be hidden under the braided bolo...anone getting a belt interested in this concept? i'll install the snaps and include the other pieces to go onto the cod if youre interested.
