final fitting before San Diego ADJUSTED SHOULDERS need opinions

Hey Y'all. I REALLY appreciate all of the feedback. I have some comments.

I did not make Cruzers sleeves the same as Donny's. Yes, Donny's were a bit small. I made Donny's sleeves to match his armor. Donny help me with the template for his sleeve.

Cruzer sent his armor to me. He had seen Craig's vest in person and told me it was very close to what was needed. So I modified the original sleeve pattern that I used for Craig's.

I have Craig's new sleeves attached and boxed to ship back to him tomorrow.

I just had an idea, Lorenzo, I could make some new sleeves and send only them to you, if you want to attach them. I have enough of your leather scraps.

Loanstar makes a wonderful Jango Vest (y)

Thanks everyone for working out the details!

Oh and Lorenzo, I don't think you need a V2, unless you would just prefer that. I could adjust the sleeves on your current vest, whenever you are ready.

But do let me know about me sending you new sleeves.

:)

Oh and Donny, you did get the shape right. There was one more little change. I used your template to make the mods that I did. But again, The sleeve that I made for Craig and for Lorenzo was larger than yours. No worries there.

Your input helped me tremendously!

I am very flattered to have the "big kids" helping me with this!

I'm very happy with how my leather vest turned out after putting on all of the armor. Don't let the blue jumpsuit fool you...it's going to be replaced with a grey Open Seasons color very soon!;)

Thanks Ladysewforus!(y)

Top notch work on the part of LadySewforus. You can tell a true craftman by how they are willing to make things perfect... or as perfect as possible.

On the topic of differing body sizes amongst the Jango costumers, I'm sure that it has become all too apparent, that even in spite all of us altering our armor to fit our body sizes better we've all seemed to over look altering/adjusting the size of the shoulder armor.

I guess we can all chock this up to a new lesson learned.

Master Cruzer, if I must take the pebble from your hand before I can leave here... I'm gonna be here for a VERY long time!
No way dude. I've seen your suit and especially your scratch built jetpack and gauntlets:eek:...no "grasshopper" there bro!(y)(y)

Cruzer, nice suit, put it on!!!
Soon bro, soon. Hopefully just in time for SDCC. If it can look almost as good as everyone's here, I'll be happy.(y)

Jango5204...be sure to post some new pics of the vest and your armor when it arrives!(y)(y)

Sorry for the hijacks, but thanks for giving us a place to share ideas, opinions, etc.

Just got the vest back today. Look at the comparison, what a difference. ( Original on left, new on right ) Thanks to Deb and Mark for making it happen so quickly. Looks like Foxbatkllr, Cruzer and I will all be sporting the Ladysewforus vests / Cruzer armor combos at the LFL Sithlord/ bountyhunter shoot at Comic Con.

Nailed it!!!

Looks ten times better now. It's just like my thread title in this section points out, small tweeks and adjustments really can make a huge difference!

And what's this about a photo shoot?!? At times like these, I really dread living up here in Canada.

Mary Franklin with LFL is organizing different group photoshoots with a professional photographer at Comic Con in San Diego next week. They have them broken into groups, like stromtroopers, clonetroopers, Sithlords and Bounty hunters, ect.... There's a stage that is provided for people to use as a hub for pictures. It was in front of Hasbro last year, I think. It's for the Star Wars people to stand on the stage in one place rather than walk around and get stopped every 2 seconds and end up blocking the walkways, and being told by the security to "move along".
