Fettpride CC Jango Fett Gauntlets

Mandalorian Guard

Active Hunter
Hi all,

I purchased earlier in the year a pair of cc Jango Fett Gauntlets which were made by Fefttpride (Chris). I purchased the gauntlets from GalacticBountyHuhnter (Eric)

I purchased new hinges from my local hardware store (www.diy.com).

I also purchased new electronic parts also from www.maplin.co.uk

I passed the gaunts along with electronic parts to BobbyFettUK to complete.

We have been waiting on metal parts from Dark-Side to come through.

I have been recently informed they have arrived.

All over to you know Rob!

OK Phil, will get you something on here, one thing, when I opened the package from Fab it only had 2 of the small plumbing type fittings, not 3 as pictured above. Not checked out how many are required, but it could be an issue?

Indeed Fab is right Rob.

Makes me wonder why you get 3 then?

This is what I thought would be a parts issue.

The pipe fitting on the left hand gauntlet.

Got you Fab, and I figure the flame thrower unit simply has the hose fittings, thats what I see in the ref photos.

OK, quick question, how have members fitted the flame thrower unit? I favour a mechanical fixing, but can't see an obvious way to get it, without having some nuts on the inside of the gaunt, which there is not much room for. So I thought about an adhesive, but that does not really please me.

Anyway, I pretty much have the right gaunt built up now, just need to fit the second half of the closure hinge and pipe adding.

Next onto the left gaunt. I have the first hinge on and seem happy with the parts, just need to get the flame thrower on satisfactorily now.

The missile is so nice, great work on all the ali parts Fab (y)

I solved the issue. I got 4 small bolts mounted in the flamethrower and bolted it on, that way it can be removed if required. Will get a photo of how I did it later, but for now here is where I am.
