Fading the purple

Straight to the point I want to fade my Loanstar flight suit. I ran through the search and found one thread but didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know. Is the only way to accomplish this by washing it a ton of times??? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Wash it a couple of times, maybe leave it in the sun for a little while. Post up some pictures of the suit so we can see.

Start by washing it with 1 tsp of bleach in cold water. If it has no effect, up it to 2 tsp, and continue until you begin to see a slight fadding effect.

I took these to kinda show you what I mean. Obviously the lighter ones are with the flash and the darker ones are without the flash. It deffinitly looks like the pics without the flash. Just wanted to get you guys opinion.

i have the suit and i think it looks pretty good in person...i think the darkness it has gets washed out as seen in the pictures and it looks much lighter in the sun...i would be careful on fading it cause you could end up fading it too much. I will just let time take care of it for me...that way it will fade in the exposed areas and be more realistic on the fade.

DentedOne - When did you order yours? I've been waiting forever...it's been shipped, but it's been stuck in New York (airport) since the 27th!

Cam, take a pic outside in the sun with no flash, from about 6 to 10 feet away. Then post it...it looks great to me though.
