I often had "D'oh" moments when I didn't get in on the original run for these, so definetly count me in too if another round of these boots happens.

Just out of curiosity... if you do this new run... will be exactly the same boots ??? or will you make some mods to make it evern more accurate ???

If it'd would be even better.. I may be interested, but pending price (and also pending on WHEN you would need the money, cause I'm really broke now)...

I'd mod a few things as well .

I am not a jango... but that was because it was near impossible to get the boots right...

    Count me in size 12.

Yeah, there will be a few things changed on the uppper part. The sole might be a problem.

Hey Reinone, I'll be one of your biggest supporters on this, I know your the one that has done all the background work on this, but I tend to think that most of the attention would lean towards the sole, since that's the part that everyone see's. I know Jango Uri did a nice diffrence comparison between the Kenneth Cole's and your original run. Ultimatley, you'll be the one who determines what can and can not be done. I'm sure we'll all await with baited breath as this thing develops further.

    THX Again!

Yes the sole is one of the main things and the toe. a little to high.

I'll be making a proposal with all things needed attention. Maybe we could have them met. that would be nice. but lets see what he could do for us.

Paul, I'm sure you'll be getting lots of suggestions and I hope you don't mind a couple of mine based on the pair that I own:

I'm not the resident expert but I'd like to see more curvature from the vamp up to the throat so that the circumference of the ankle is smaller. The boot ankles are a bit large. This is based on the model above (bed stus?) and also my experience wearing them.

If I did buy another pair, I'd personally like to see the canvas be a charcoal color rather than the purple color but that's not really a big deal. Here's an image from my reference CD of the real McCoy:

Anyway, just my two cents. I know there are more details that others will cover, but these were my only two real concerns. Looking forward to seeing the new and improved version and crossing my fingers for a price that's easier on my wallet.

You can add a pair of white boots to my order as well if you're going to do a run for the galactic marines.

My size is 9.5 for the list. Thanks!

    Hey, Reinone,

Can you make these in other colors like "tan" or "white" for the GM's and BARC's ?
No biggie if you can't, I just don't know how much play you have with color options or even if there is an option

    BTY GBH - I need size 9

skalen fehl- If you notice on your boots the ankle size is just the right size to get your foot in. This is because the fabric I used is not stretchable so thats why the anle are oversized like that in my boots. The boot maker did it like this on purpose. So this leaves me to believe the originals had a cotton stetch material to allow the ankle throat to be narrower and still allow you to put them on.

I found some material two years ago that would be perfect for this but its the wrong color. I can probably dye it but I don't have much experiance with that.

galactic bounty hunter--Thanks for getting the interest list going. I'll my best to get this done.

pghfett-- I will know in a week if the manufacturer of the soles can do them in white. I think white would be better because then you can weather them to look dirty.

As much as I don't really need to jump back onto the jango costume wagon I really don't want to pass up a chance to get boots when I can. I guess I would rather have a pair and not need them then need a pair and not have them. So put me on the list, size 12 pending price and time frame.

I'll be interested in a white pair as well. I'm doing a Biker Scout. a cross between Episode3 and Return of the jedi sketch book version.

    nice!
