This bucket is one of the "scratch and dent" Helmet.
The gel coat was a little thick, and it required more sanding. After some work, the aluminium is brillant . Cold cast is simply wow !

Awesome job Eskilax! One question, what is the black outline around your edges with the taping?

It's a fine tape (it's easier to make curves with it). It's also used for the two black lines on the dome.

    These may be dumb questions...

Eskilax - what did you use to hold the screws (for the visor) and keyslots in place? Was that just bondo?

Did you use the light blue - then the dark blue?

    - it's cool! I bought some bondo tonight, hopefully that will work.

I won't have my helmet until this weekend.

Itsthatguy > I've not used bondo for the screw, I've used this :

    http://www.brico.be/wabs/fr/catalogu...air-express.do

I do not know the name is english, but it's used to repair pipe and stuff like that. It's made of two different composant and you have to mix it (like bondo )
