Cruzer Jango holster run for August

Just when I thought things could slow down...;)

Ok, I've got some members needing holsters, so I'll do a small run since it's more efficient to make a few when all the right tools are out and scattered throughout the garage.

They're custom made to three of your dimensions to fit perfectly out of the box (guaranteed). I also stain them to your color preference, to the color seen in the ref. CD CII Jango pics, to a nice medium brown that will work well with most brown leatherwork for Jango, or to closely resemble Seeker's ammo belt finish.:thumbsup

I'll be picking up the leather and materials this weekend or early next week. Production will start next week with an expected 2-3 week turn-around time. The price is $250 Priority shipped in the U.S. Members outside the U.S. will need to contact me for an international shipping quote.

I almost forgot to mention that the Westars you see are the resin versions, but are close to the same size as the MRs. ( the resin ones are just a tad longer ) ;)

Guys, this is not a run you want to miss out on. These holsters are true beauty. Get them while you can! :D They're worth going into debt for! :D

These holsters are THE BEST. Here are mine with a Seeker ammo belt, you could not see a difference in color.

All right guys, small update. I'm running a little behind due to the unexpected demands of starting a new job about 2 weeks ago. I'm still teaching, but was just unexpectedly moved to the high school within the same district. Learning new curriculum, setting up a new classroom, and just trying to figure out what the heck I'm supposed to be doing day-in and day-out is always a pain in the very beginning. So, I'm back on track with prop making. At least half of the orders should go out after this weekend, with the rest quickly following.

It looks like I'll have some extra leather to do about 2-3 more assemblies, so I'll open it up to a few more orders after these are filled.

The assemblies I thought I'd have done by this weekend are waiting for stain, and I'm still waiting on webbed belts.

The web belts arrived today and I got right on em.

Actually, I had to stop mid-stain process because my last sprayer went dead late last night. So, I'll pick up a few more at Home Depot today after work and will have it finished and looking like the rest and ready to ship tomorrow.

It will not be identical in color because I do not have access to the same stains as Seeker due to California restrictions, and because we are two different people with different application tecniques. However, the colors will resemble one another and be similar enough to wear together.:thumbsup

can you do them in black?

Eco-Flo is the brand of stains I use, and they do have a black stain. However, keep in mind it will not be like a "painted" black that is solid, but more like a slightly diluted black because it is a stain and not a paint. They do make paints for leather applications but I have never used them. If you didn't want to go the stain route, I could always make you an unstained holster assembly and let you attempt the paints.:thumbsup

I had some black stain a long time ago but not now.

If I had to choose, I'd probably use the Stain and Finish in order to maintain the natural appearance of leather, and any scratch weathering would probably look pretty cool.:thumbsup The paint would be best if you wanted a painted looking surface, however, I don't know how resistant to cracking it would be on sufaces like the straps that see a lot of movement on my holster assemblies.
