Cruzer Jango holster orders

Sorry Jango72. I knew you were very interested from past PMs. However, I must have misread your current PMs and thought you weren't ready right now. I added you to the list due to it being my error and am sending you the ordering info via PM that I sent to everyone else on the list.(y)

how much are you asking for your holsters?
thanks

They run $225 shipped in the U.S., and are custom made to three of your dimensions for a perfect fit upon receipt. Currently, I am in the process of making two new molds with a few slight modifications for improved accuracy. I'm hoping to speed up the fabrication process and get orders out faster.
Thanks for the question. :)

Cruzer - could you please add Dgasser to the wait list?

His been wanting a set of your holsters for over 2 years now.

member? ;)

Nah, guys, nothing to show. Right now I'm only finding a small amount of time to do this hobby during the weekends. I've puchased all the leather and hardware, and am still working on the new holster molds (which I hope to have finished this weekend). However, I've been so busy with work, family, and my son's new football schedule that I've considered the possibility of issuing refunds and calling off the run.

I'm trying to not let anyone down, but if there's anyone on the run list that this time frame just isn't working out for, please let me know and I'd be more than happy to refund your money and have one less holster assembly to worry about.

Thanks

Don't worry about it Cruzer. I still want a set, but there is no real rush for me. I don't think I will be getting my Jango gear done for Halloween any way. I really hope you don't call off the run as I am eager to have a set of your holsters, but I understand if you decide to do so. For my set you can take as much time as you need. Thanks.

No worries about the run, it's just off to a slow start mostly due to the actual making of the holster molds taking some time. Once the new molds are finished by this weekend, then production can go twice as fast as previous runs. This weekend I'll also be cutting up all the leather. So, I estimate the first of the holsters assemblies starting to ship within 2 weeks.(y)

I'm still in on the run Cruz. I understand the busy schedule. Whenever they get done, they get done. Myself, I work fulltime along with my wife, we two have kids in elementary school, both my wife and myself go to college part-time, plus I am a peewee football coach, with both our kids playing sports. Then I get home with 10 PM's over at CT.net about people wanting me to make things for them. You are not alone in all this crazyness, it is a balancing act for sure.

Ok guys. Got a bunch of work done on the holsters this weekend, so progress is going good. The new holster shape looks really good, and I did something different with the d-ring holder piece which makes the design more accurate. I'll post some progress pics tonight. I expect the first 3-4 assemblies to ship by this weekend. I do have enough leather left over for 2 more assemblies if there are any interested members.

Thanks,(y)

A few progress pics. This pair will belong to slave1pilot after a little bit of weathering, affixing everything to a belt, and adding the post hardware. California just recently passed a law banning all alcohol based leather stains, so I still have to get used to the color results of the new Eco-Flo line of water based stains carried by Tandy. After a little bit of testing, I realized it takes three different color applications just to get a finish similar to Seeker's ammo belts. The color below isn't that, but is one application of Java Brown. The d-ring holders are spray painted with Rustoleum Aluminum.

Enjoy(y)

Looking awesome Cruzer! The new holster mold looks great. That stinks about having to use the water based stains. I guess everything is going that direction though. It looks like you have figured out a good color combo to make it work. Thanks for the pics.
