Cruzer Jango gauntlet run!

Hey guys. Just been a busy week and haven't had a chance to check in so wanted to do so here first.

We're still waiting for the LEDs and Dark-Side was laid up in bed with the flu last weekend so hopefully he's feeling better now. I pulled the last of the shells last weekend, and I'll begin hollowing out and predrilling the flamethrowers this weekend. Other than that, all I need to do is still work on the hinges for the pin closures by drilling out the pins, pulling them, trimming for the handles, and hollowing out the insides of the links.

As for any future runs :wacko, this has been a lot of work, so I'm going to take a small break when these orders go out.

Just saying hi with a small update. Now to try and steal a few hours in the garage.(y):)
 
Thanks FP. It's a love/hate relationship for me when it comes to prop making, and my wife doesn't exactly like my extra time in the garage!;):lol:

Saxter, it was actually Dark-Side who was sick as a dog. I told him not to worry about working on the last of the aluminum parts last weekend because he didn't need to be making props while sick and I still had plenty of things to do on my part. So hopefully he is feeling better now.

Everyone has been awesome in patiently waiting for everything to come together with this gauntlet run and I appreciate it greatly.

I have been contacted by a handful of members who wanted to be added to the list, but I turned them down until this run is over. I always try to work with people, so if there's anyone on the list that needs to back out because their circumstances have changed, please let me know. I would be more than happy to trade spots with someone wanting on the list. Just wanted to throw that out there in case it could benefit anyone.

Other than that, I'm starting to see the end of the tunnel on this run and hope to have all the orders shipped out as soon as the aluminum parts and LEDs are in.

Oops, I guess I read it wrong. I just figured it was you who was sick because I read the line like this..

Can I be put down for a set with all the options, lights,darts, hoses, etc.. along with holsters if someone backs out. If not can I be put on the next run. Thanks Cruzer

My plan is do a small run of holsters next month to meet some members' needs. Then do a very small run of gauntlets the following month.

Update:
Last weekend after inspecting the durability of the shells a little closer, I decided to put an extra layer of fiberglass resin in each shell to add some durability. I'm finishing them up this weekend, so the flamethrower and hinge work will start next weekend.

I spoke to Dark-Side and he said he'll be finishing the parts this Monday, and then all the parts will ship out soon thereafter.

Lastly, we're still waiting on the LED housings.

I have a feeling it's going to be a while till the new backplate mold is done, so I'll send both of you out a missle as soon as I can find your addy's in my sea of paypals. PM me your addy if you want.

hey cruzer...did you get my pm? i was hoping you could send me out the shells and what ever else youve got so i could get started with the assembly...i was hoping to have something to use for the st patty's parade on the 16th of march. i'll pay you the extra shipping to send out the remainder of the parts when they come in. did you ever get the holster mold fixed for my set?
